"Aiden!" I heard Karlie's shrill voice pierce through the silent party, except for the booming sound of music coming from the expensive-looking black speakers perched on the high corner walls of the house.
"I'm fine, Karlie, seriously," I said in a heaving voice, wincing at the pain that still stabbed at the spot (and surrounding areas) where the asshole punched me.
But Karlie still came to my aid, kneeling beside me and putting her hands on my shoulders.
Ash pushed the fist that he caught in his hand away from himself, snarling at the guy caught in his menacing stare. "What the fuck, dude? Who the fuck do you think you are?" he snarled. "I don't think I invited you to my party."
