The Duels of Professionals Pt. 3

Yielya sat, her job as a healer recently has been quite boring. Unless they faced an abnormal amount of enemies, healing wasn't something she needed to do. Her party members were extremely skilled and rarely got hurt.

This was the main reason she offered for them to split up. Had they stuck together and leveled up, she would be extremely bored. The only way for a priest to level up was to take part in missions with another group.

Now she was facing against some skilled opponents. The battle had progressed a small bit and only two people had been hurt. The pink dressed priest didn't make a move during that time.

Not needed to do anything, Yielya closed her eyes, perhaps she would get some sleep.

"Your openings." Wrock responded.

Charitable Sun frowned, he hadn't seen a single martial artist claim they found openings so early in the battle. So he concluded it was a bluff.

"Then let us see these openings!" He proclaimed.

Charitable Sun and Wrock slowly walked to each other. As soon as they were in range Charitable Sun threw a punch. Wrock blocked the punch and threw one back. Charitable Sun stopped the punch. Twisting himself Charitable Sun elbowed Wrock's chest.

<-150hp>

Wrock normally would have dodged, but the fatigue had slowed his movements significantly.

Wrock stumbled backwards, gripping his chest. Charitable Sun spoke, "Perhaps we should use the in-game skills? I would feel bad if I won because of your fatigue."

Wrock laughed hoarsely, "Sure, if you want."

"Then I won't be polite."

Charitable Sun made strange movements with their palm and thrust it towards Wrock.

"Five Folding Palm!"

Wrock had already recovered, the only fist punch he had was still on cooldown. So Wrock attempted to dodge, to his surprise the hand multiplied into five. Two of these hit him and he was sent sliding backwards.

<-400 hp>

Wrock's health value had been halved. He only had 1000 HP.

Wrock coughed up blood. The battle wasn't looking too nice. Wrock wasn't too troubled, he would find a way.

Charitable Sun's fist had a ring appear around it. Appearing suddenly in front of Wrock he threw his fist upwards.

This was called the Three Waved Uppercut. One of the few moves that didn't require a voice activation.

Wrock blocked the attack so no damage was dealt, but he was sent upwards. Two magic shockwaves came after and threw him higher.

Wrock wasn't going to let such an opportunity down. He sent a kick downwards shouting, "The Beast's Roar!"

Charitable Sun was hit straight on with the shockwave, this shoved him into the ground. Still alive Charitable Sun attempted to get on his feet but Wrock had his second attack ready.

This was the third move he had created, just in case something survived [The Beast's Roar] he made something to finish them off.

Wrock descended rapidly a blue magic silhouette of a hawk around the size of three stacked buses appeared behind him, one of its claws outstretched it's wings outspread beautifully.

Wrock was in a position similar to a flying dragon kick, except angled downwards. This end of Wrock's foot matched with the outstretched claw of the hawk.

The pink priest noticed the low health of Charitable Sun. Seeing their inevitable doom she proceeded to cast a basic heal.

Or she would have, Yielya long noticed this and cast a skill she learned from a skill stone. The pink priest couldn't move suddenly and failed to cast the heal. This move was none other than [Paralysis].

Charitable Sun was in no position to dodge, no matter his movements. Noticing his inevitable defeat he smiled, "I truly would like to fight you at your best."

Wrock said nothing as his foot came into contact with Charitable Sun's neck.

<Critical Hit! -800hp>

Wrock walked off towards Yielya as soon as he made it to her side he collapsed.

Yielya used a basic spell called [Diagnose] on Wrock. She gave a small laugh at what she saw.

[Collapsed from fatigue.]

Driven angrily slashed towards Akiol. He couldn't hit them no matter how many times he swung. He had never been so humiliated.

Akiol dodged another blow and said, "You could give up you know. It's clear to both of us you won't make win."

"As if you know anything!" Driven shouted.

Akiol shook his head in disappointment. His enemy allowed emotions get to their head. This was a huge chunk of a fight. This essentially sealed Akiol's victory.

A bright blue glow interrupted his gaze, when he looked over at what caused it he saw a huge hawk descending on the master-like individual.

Not allowing the sight to interrupted him he focused on his match. By the looks of it he would be second to finish.

Not wanting to be third Akiol sped up his attacks. Cutting and slicing at every opportunity. Driven was covered with wounds, these were healed by the pink priest but Akiol kept giving more wounds.

Eventually the pink priest gave up on healing Driven. Most likely arriving at the conclusion that it wasn't worth the MP.

Akiol smiled and commented, "You have been abandoned by your own priest. It's best you give up."

Driven slashed at Akiol again ignoring him. Akiol had no idea why Driven was so angry, he hadn't done anything to offend them. He didn't dwell on this, instead he continued his assault. Driven's health had slowly fallen, eventually reaching a critical state.

Driven collapsed onto his knees. He panted, "Why? Why can I not hit you?"

"The answer to that is simple." Akiol pointed his sword at Driven's neck, "You were outmatched."

Akiol stabbed Driven's neck. His lifeless body fell to the ground. After defeating his opponent Akiol walked next to Yielya. Sitting down he asked, "Is Wrock good?"

"Fatigue." Yielya responded.

Akiol nodded, he didn't need anymore information. He watched the remaining battles.

It was up to the rest to secure victory.

Stabbed was biting his nails nervously. Two of his experts had died! This was not expected and he was worrying if his plan would fail.

He still had a bit of confidence, after all the two strongest were the ones who won. Compared to the rest of his enemies.

Victory could still be his. He would be the one on the monthly highlight. He would no longer be the one who was laughed at. Pierced Moon would become a powerful guild in the hearts of players.

He will not lose!
