Sulking Suitor

[Johan's POV]

"Are you alright?"

Annoyance made him slightly drew in his eyebrows upon hearing the same question for the millionth time since Adrian drove him back to the intersection where Strawberry Jam Disco Bar was built.

He wasn't hurt. Not in the way everyone thought he was.

Johan hated being treated like a frail individual, but he reminded himself that these people were genuinely worried for him, including Leo, who he only met today. Forcing a reassuring smile, Johan nodded his head. "I'm okay, guys. Really. I'm sure of it."

The girls didn't look convinced. Heck, even Leo looked the least satisfied with his answer, judging by the still worried look on his face. With Adrian who stood beside him, however, a protective arm on his waist, Leo kept his mouth shut alongside his coworkers near the club's entrance.
