I sent the article off to Phyllis at New Economy and went to bed. The next day I went to school and it was like I was a brand new student. People either crowded around me or stared at me. None of the teachers said anything at all to me. The Vice-Principal talked to me briefly to ask that I not encourage the students to disrupt classes. It seems that Mr. Hand had taken a leave of absence.
When I got home there was an article from Phyllis waiting for me.
Tuni, I like your article. I think you have a fresh way of looking at issues. We have a one year internship that will start in the next few months. I would like you to consider coming as our intern. It would be a great learning experience for all of us and it will help you get your choice of Universities. Let me know if you're interested.
