AvC: Selfish Heart

In the afternoon of the second day, while the Avians were busy preparing to journey to the land, Liam and her little ones also prepped up to explore the Avian lands.

However, before they could even step out, Liam spotted a group of awakened Avians waiting for them by the entrance of the castle.

They all looked haggard and somewhat emaciated compared to others.

They were the parents of the little ones.

"Can we meet them for a moment? We… we are their parents," one female Avian asked Liam with nervousness in her eyes.

Liam could see that all of the people in front of them looked restless, their eyes kept on darting to the little chutians. But the parents did not move, because they all knew that Liam was the current guardian of the unawakened Avians and took care of them when their parents could not.

Liam glanced at the little ones.

Instead of answering the female Avian, she asked for the chutians' opinions.
