Coin Toss

The Ranria Family could be only attacked by the neighboring nobles.

Vayve strangely had that thought, but it was surely because the setting was so perfect he couldn't dismiss that thought. Furthermore, he had that MC's abilities slowly awakening, so there was a chance someone might try to use him as bait.

Right now, there were only two reasons for others to try to attack their family.

Of course, all of this was an assumption of Vayve as he was too anxious about his new family! He had somehow broken a little of his cautiousness and allowed himself to act like 'a kid' while growing up in happiness.

However, as soon as that quest appeared, Vayve realized that his future is not that bright.

If not his family's situation, then someone surely is going to use 'him' as a bait! His potential might be good, but now, with the MC's plot armor being awakened, Vayve's magic is going to just explode in terms of power and understanding.

Even now, he was using a coin toss to deal a lot of damage!

Boom!

His first common and fast magic was that 'Coin Toss' which is just a mere throw! But this mere throw is soaked in magic, thus, the power is surely way higher than one can imagine. This very spell has a lot of disadvantages for now.

The coin can not come back and Vayve has a limited supply of these coins.

Even so, there was already a huge potential that Vayve was looking forward to.

"Young Master Vayve."

While Vayve was playing with his coin toss, one of the maids approached him and gently passed a letter that was adorned with a golden signature. This was truly beautiful handwriting which can mistake!

However, using golden ink is surely too strange in this world.

Because a golden ink is truly expensive and mostly used for a magic scrolls. Vayve knew that the person who aimed this latter at him... was truly forcing him to read it!

That's why the boy didn't ask for anything else other than to be alone.

As soon as the maid left him, Vayve went straight to his room and opened up the letter. Inside, there was an invitation to a birthday party. It was a birthday party of a young noble with a similar status to Vayve, so many young boys were invited.

Vayve felt like this 'boy' was truly trying to probe into him!

Of course, as someone who was wounded by people in his former life, Vayve was keeping a distance from most people except his family and few maids! It was hard to believe in others, but Vayve somehow broke through his barriers.

Even so, other young prodigies weren't aware of Vayve and his talents, looks, and personality.

'I could use magic lessons as an excuse, but it won't last long. Even more with this MC's plot armor. It will push me forward and should work with other residents of this world, but what about others?'

The stories are from a lot of authors!

Such passive ability won't work on them for sure! Vayve also couldn't possibly know their reasons for writing fiction stories. It might be a pure desire to write something out from their 'bland' world or to relieve themselves similarly to his reason.

Of course, everyone might have different goals in the new world.

Vayve just wanted to grow in strength slowly without many people influencing him, then go outside and meet his MCs and their 'support' characters. Their past was naturally harsh and his main reason to meet them was to turn their lives into better ones.

However, the knowledge of the kingdom, Vayve was located in, was very limited to their neighbors and these very neighbors didn't have Vayve's MCs. The lands were also unfamiliar and all households and hidden powers were simply unfamiliar.

In the end, everything leads to strength.

The magic!

'My MC's skill had given me a magic system, so that's my path.'

Vayve was facing a huge obstacle after seven years... He wanted a lot, but he also didn't want to go outside as if hoping for someone to deal with his worries. This was bad and he was aware of it.

But meeting others on his own was truly hard for him.

His family and maids are a different case as they 'forced' themselves onto him!

"Young Master Vayve!"

"W-what?!"

Then, the sudden voice stopped the train of thoughts! Vayve answered unconsciously, his voice shaking a little! Of course, it was one of his maids that informed him that he got a visitor... As Vayve turned his eyes to a clock, he found out that a lot of time passed.

"It's a young master Bibur! He came to visit you and hear your answer."

'What the hell! I just got this letter yet you want an answer already?!'

Vayve was too annoyed by this 'forced' visit. What was worse was that his Mother was happy with it as Vayve was truly a 'loner'. She ordered maids to sent him and Bibur to a big room where two 'innocent' kids can play and talk freely.

"Hi, Vayve! I heard a lot about you!"

"Hi..."

Bibur was very friendly. He approached Vayve innocently, then hugged him like a good friend! The whole show of friendship was very cute for the outsiders and people quickly left both of them in a nice room.

The visitor took a seat, then looking at Vayve with a nice smile, the boy began showering Vayve with a lot of questions. Though he heard a lot, it seemed as if he wanted to know more. It began from the magic, swordsmanship, and so on, then ended with a sudden question that caused Vayve to open his eyes widely.

"Are you an MC?"

"!"

This was rather a too sudden question to which Vayve had no answer to. His eyes just went wide and it was enough for Bibur to curl his lips up into a cruel smile. This very smile wasn't so innocent and definitely not a one that kid could do!

It was filled with an 'experience', a life experience!

"I see, I see... Finally... Someone worthy of killing."

'Killing...'

Vayve was truly astonished to hear this 'man' speaking about it so leisurely... His knowledge must be limited, but he knew that killing is just as eating in this chaotic world...

A huge tension descended onto the room, but it was only for Vayve!
