Jhummi is a girl with an ambitious attitude. She is a college girl with a sharp mind. She is a topper and so many girls are jealous of her beauty with brain skills. But all these things never bother her.
The biggest problem of her life was her family who never supports her. Her father is a drunk man who abuses her and beats her daily and her mother also never cares about her. All she has a brother who always cries with her. She was smart along with her sports skills. But she never knows what game will destiny play with her.
She was the finest player in her college in badminton. She is selected to represent her college in the upcoming badminton tournament. It was a state competition where so many colleges were participating in different cities. It was a great opportunity for her to show her talent. She was so excited about it.
The tournament is held on this Sunday. And today was Saturday so she wanted to practice one last time. She was confident about herself but she wants to win at any cost. She doesn't know that every time when she practices a pair of eyes always stare at her from somewhere, she was so pretty after all. Long brown hair with brown eyes deep like the ocean. She was tall and every boy dreams about her but she wants to focus on her career.
Finally, it was Sunday and she is so excited about her match. Her best friend Suhani was there to cheer up. Jhummi was glad because Suhani is all she has in this college. Suhani hugged her tight and wished her all the best. Suhani was a pretty rich girl but like others, she was not arrogant. She was kind and she was glad to have jhummi.
First-round started and Shrishti was playing from Jhummi's college. Shrishti was a good player but the opponent was strong. Shrishti loses the match. In the next round, jhummi started playing.
Jhummi's performance was excellent and continually she defeats four colleges. It was a little break in the next round. Jhummi was happy with her performance but she doesn't know that her next performance was with the most popular player in MST college. Ayan was the most popular player not only in his college but he was so famous in the whole city. He was more popular with girls for his charming and sexy looks. He looks like a god of charm.
It was the final round and jhummi was excited and nervous at the same time. Ayan was a chill pill. He was so confident. The last alarm rang and the match was about to start. Both players were on stage and stare at each other for 10 seconds.
The match began and both were giving each other a tough fight. The score was 9 equal. Just one more shot and the winner would show up. For jhummi, it was her biggest opportunity. She can't afford to lose.
As per Ayan, he can't afford to lose from a girl. Ayan never loses any match. So he was giving his full attention. Jhummi heard so many things about Ayan and she knows that she can't defeat him. She also heard that Ayan was a playboy. Girls could die for him.
She heard so many times in parties girls tried to throw themselves on him. So for her own sake first time in her life, she tried to take advantage of the situation. She badly wants to win this match. So she tried her luck and she was continuously staring into his eyes. And she blinked her one eye and for god sake, Ayan missed the shot.
And jhummi jumped in happiness. Her whole college was shouting and whistling. She was so happy. She won the match. Suhani came and hugged her so tightly. The coach of jhummi congratulated her and she won the trophy and cash prize too. She can't express how happy she was. But on the other side, Ayan was so angry with himself. He couldn't believe how can he lose. For him, it was a thump on his ego.
Ayan Singh got defeated by a random girl. He was so frustrated and he punched the wall so hard. His hand started bleeding. But he didn't feel any pain because the real wound was on his ego. He didn't show up after the match. He went home and grab two bottles of beer and started drinking.
He lives alone in his own apartment. He was continuously thinking about how she blinked her eyes. Her eyes were so beautiful and so deep like the ocean. There was so much shine in those brown eyes of her. He broke his thoughts and started thinking about his defeat. He just can't go things this easily. He was hurt and after drinking he went to sleep.
She was on the ninth cloud. Happy and excited. She wanted to celebrate her first biggest victory. So she went to her favorite place, the Orphanage. It was her favorite place since she was twelve. Her father started abusing her since then and god knows why her mother never stopped him.
His brother Neel always tried to stop his father and protect her sister but he was miserably failed all the time. So every time when she was broken she used to come here to heal herself. Whenever she see those smiling faces of children she forgot the situation.
She always thinks that the children have no family and they are all alone still they are smiling like they are the luckiest kids. This thought always makes her strong. She bought so many chocolates, chips, and balloons for children. In orphanage everyone knows jhummi, the miss Merry was a widow in her late forties. She was like a second mother for jhummi. She was so happy to hear about Jhummi's victory. Jhummi distributed all gifts to the kids and they jumped in happiness. All kids were so happy and they were dancing like they got the most beautiful moment in their life.
Jhummi went home and told her mother about her victory and her mother didn't react she just nods her head and went upstairs. Jhummi's father heard about her victory and he directly went to jhummi and slapped her so hard and he asked her about the prize money.
Jhummi was prepared for this. She knows her father so well. So she already deposited her all money in her savings account. She knows that if she will keep this money with her father will snatch from her anyhow.
Jhummi is not selfish she could give her all savings to her father but her father doesn't worth it. He will waste all money on drinking and gambling. Her father again hit her so hard. She fell on the stairs and her head hit the floor and it started bleeding.
Neel came running from the front door and took her sister to his room. She was not crying but she was hurt. Neel bandages her wound and calms her. Why in this whole world she has parents like this. Neel was trying to cheer up his sister who was so upset with the recent incidents. He congratulated her on her biggest victory.
He kissed her forehead and told her to do some rest. She was tired too it was the busiest day. She went to her room and decided to take a shower. She wore her shorts and without having dinner she went to sleep.
The next day she woke up early in the morning. She was not upset now. She keeps a smile on her face and went to shower. She wore a beautiful black shirt and blue jeans with flat bellies.
She went to the kitchen and made breakfast for her and Neel. He likes sandwiches so both ate their breakfast and left the house. Neel drops jhummi at her college and went to college.
Jhummi went inside her college and heart jumped in happiness, she started crying, her whole college was there for her welcome. The respected principal gives her a bucket of flowers.
And all teachers congratulated her and wished her more success. In just one say she became the apple of everyone's eye. She just thanked everyone for their kindness and went inside.
Suhani was waiting for her for the last hour. Jhummi hugged Suhani from behind and both jumped in happiness. Suhani kissed her cheek. We should celebrate told Suhani and jhummi nod her head in agreement. They both bunked the college and went for a long drive.
They both were like Shadows. Know each other so well. Equal madness and equal love. They spend the whole day together and went cafe for dinner. They order pizza and ice cream. The most favorite meal of both. Forcefully jhummi paid the bill because it was a special day for her. Suhani didn't stop her because she knows there will be no use. Suhani drop her at her home and kissed her head with saying to be safe and take care and Suhani left.
She went inside and see her mother and father were fighting over something which she didn't try to stop. She went to Neel's room and found he was sleeping like a cute baby. She kissed his forehead and turn off the lights. She went into her room n instantly took a shower. She was sweaty and tired. She got to relax after bathing. She laid on her bed and started thinking about her victory. She was feeling a little guilty. Like she did cheating. But then she thought all the happiness which she got today it's all worth it. But she still remembered the angry face of Ayan.
She came out of her thoughts when her phone beep. It was Suhani's message. She was worried that what if her father again did something to her. Suhani told her so many times that she should leave this home. But jhummi don't want this. Jhummi wants to stay with her not so good family. She told Suhani that she is fine and see you tomorrow. After saying good night to Suhani jhummi slept instantly.
The next day jhummi woke up with a little headache. She doesn't feel healthy whenever in the morning her head starts to aching. She started thinking that this is not a good omen. But Neel came to her room with breakfast and wished her good morning with a forehead kiss.
So jhummi skipped all her negative thoughts away. Both had breakfast and jhummi got ready for college. She wore a beautiful pink dress. She left home and call Suhani.
After the lecture, both Suhani and jhummi were going to a cafe to Chatting. They ordered noodles and cold coffee and started talking about the match. Jhummi was so excited and she was about to tell Suhani how she wins the match but all her excitement vanish from her face and she became a little pale. Her eyes met with another pair and she forgot what she was blabbering. It was Ayan sing, he was standing in front of her. For god sake, he was looking so hot and handsome in his black t-shirt.
