Board meeting is the right name. Board. Suits and egos, not a smile that isn't painted on or an opinion that isn't so safe as to be completely pointless. It's as if they're colluding in how to have the most un-fun experience of living possible... away from everything that really matters to all of them.
Boring old voices, mathematics, and statistics, all of these are not his type. He is no other than Cyrus, a wealthy businessman who owns a company that has more than eight branches in the Sinnoh Region. While the old gentlemen talked in front of him about the average usage of his money, Cyrus stared at his hand, tossing a coin up and down because of boredom.
It was also eight in the evening and Cyrus haven't had his dinner yet. All those words told by the people in front of him, it passed through his left ear and exited the right, just like the lessons in Math and Science when my mother used to teach me. In short, no one loves a board meeting or rather a bored meeting.
If he couldn't stand the pain of boredom just by tossing a coin, he would sometimes stare out at the large window of his skyscraper. "Cyrus Industries" the name is written all over the place and the skyscraper in Veilstone City in which the board meetings are conducted is his central branch.
The skyscraper offers a total of one hundred floors. Every hour, the floors are swept, the tiles are shined for the purpose of not triggering the grumpy's OCD. Cyrus is both grumpy and calm, kinda depends on whom he is talking to. He always wears a broody expression and prefers to keep his mouth shut rather than talking.
Numbers, lines, graphs, all of them give stress to the owner of the company, Cyrus. The clock reached the second to the last hour before midnight and it was at that moment when the meeting had just ended. He shook the hands of the gentlemen and left the boardroom immediately.
He was somewhat in a rush, walking like a man who needed to go to the bathroom, no longer having the capability to hold his pee. He entered his elevator and through a small device that looks like a radar found in the upper corner of the elevator, his eyes were scanned.
[Good day, Master Cyrus.] uttered the device. The lights in the ceilings of the elevator blinked in a red hue as a "G" symbol flashed from the device. The elevator then descended to the basement, a place wherein no one knows about except for Cyrus and his "underlings".
The doors of the elevator opened and there he was greeted by two beautiful ladies. One had a red but short hair, the other had a dark-pinkish one. They smiled at Cyrus pleasantly but that did not change his broody expression.
"Good evening Master Cyrus." the women greeted.
"Jupiter, Mars." Cyrus greeted as he continued his walk.
Jupiter and Mars, they are one of the four commanders of Team Galactic. Unlike Team Magma and Aqua, these people are serious, strong, forced to train their Pokemon, and work in the shadows while their boss feeds them with money for their salary.
Team Galactic's headquarters lies beneath the businessman's tower. Here, everyone is busy. On the left, people are on their computers, calculating and typing important matters. At the right, people are training to hone their skills. Some were sweepers, janitors, while others were busy handling calls from customers.
Though, the customers do not have any idea that the people they are talking to are actually the villains of Sinnoh. In front of Cyrus is his large screen, used to display important matters that can help him achieve his ultimate goal.
"Aren't you suppose to be going home, Master Cyrus?" Jupiter queried. She wasn't used to Cyrus's sudden appearance.
"I have no need to rest. Bring me the new recruit." Cyrus instructed, wearing a broody expression.
"Right away, Master Cyrus." uttered the two commanders.
While they did what their master has bid, Cyrus sat at the corner of the room, his workspace. He stared at his people, watching them work. If one employee automatically doesn't meet his expectations, he or she will be kicked out. That is how strict Cyrus is.
Before him, the new recruit was presented. Charon, the newest commander of Team Galactic. He wears a lab coat, has hair that is slightly stained with pink. His glasses are circular compared to the classic oval. He may have an obese body size but do not underestimate his talent and skills when it comes to science and technology.
The old man is a master when it comes to science. His skills are like those of the famous professors. He may look grumpy in the outside when in fact this man is actually quite goofy and clumsy.
"What happened?" Cyrus got to the point and asked the old man.
"S-sorry Master Cyrus, but we couldn't find it."
"All you had to do was to climb Stark Mountain, find the magma stone and summon Heatran."
"Yes, we tried but it failed." responded, Charon. He was starting to shiver for he thought Cyrus was about to spill all his anger at him.
"Forget it. We'll do it next time. I want to achieve my desire. Have I ever told you what I've ever wanted?"
"Wh-what is it, Master Cyrus?"
"My dream? Not a big deal actually. Although I am disappointed that my associates cannot give what I want. A hunter that I've partnered up with to track down the lake guardians was captured by the Pokemon International Police.
Those police, their power in this region is too vast, too much. Just in front of us, there is a branch, turn left there is another, in the center of Veilstone counts the third. Sigh, all I wanted was to recreate everything in my own image, from the very start.
People and Pokemon, they don't deserve to live in this world, they deserve a better one, one with fairness and equity. So, now here you are, asking me, what is my dream? Well, I recruited you to help me, so might I might as well tell you what it is."
Cyrus leaned closer to Charon's ear and whispered, "I want to restart the universe. Everything, back from scratch. We will start at the beginning with me as the creator. This world has given me so much pain, I want a new one. That is what I want."
"Y-yes." he nodded, choking his saliva as he wiped his neck with his sweaty hands. He was uncomfortable for the broody man to be an inch close to his face.
"Good. You failed the mission in Stark Mountain, don't fail me again. Track down the lake guardians and capture them for me."
"Of course, right away!" Charon nodded again and walked far from Cyrus.
"He thinks I'm scary." chuckled, Cyrus while watching Charon walk away from him.
"Of course not, Master Cyrus. Shall we get you a cup of tea while you're here?"
"That would be delightful, Commander Jupiter."
Alongside Jupiter was Mars who assisted her to get Cyrus's coffee. While that is being done, Cyrus calmly waits, talking to himself again. He closed eyes for a moment, thinking of the beautiful world that he had dreamed of.
"Soon, those who've wronged me will regret their decision," he told himself.
I know Heatran is at the end of the games but I figured to put it in the front to give way for something.
