Lijuan's eyes bulged at his voice and she ran straight at him. He had actually thought she would run back inside to go freshen up since she was looking very causual, but instead, she hugged him very tightly.

"You abandoned me for a week!" She whined and hit his back lightly while still hugging him.

He chuckled and hugged her back. "It wasn't up to a week. That's some exaggeration." 

She pulled away from the hug to look into his face. "You weren't friendly this week." She pouted. 

"Did it hurt you?" He asked with an apologetic smile. 

"Of course, I couldn't sleep well or draw or study or even eat! And you ended the call on me." She said sadly.
