What Do You Want Part 1

Esai stared at the door for a while then decided to pull out a small, hidden drawer under his desk. He pulled out a mother of pearl pen, a single sheet of black paper and a bottle of swirling silver liquid. He dipped the pen into the liquid and started to write. 'I need to speak with you now.' Esai wrote.

The black paper burst into a green and purple flame the moment he pulled the pen away. A small black cat emerged from the flames, one eye was a beautiful shade of green while the other was purple and a silver bow with a tiny white bell was tied around its neck. "Go." Esai instructed and the cat jumped upwards and dove into the shadows.

Calder walked back towards his office at a pace slower then a snail. "What's wrong?" A small voice called out as a pure and evil Calder appeared on main Calder's shoulders. "I feel guilty." Calder replied in a dejected voice.

"What about?! You're living the high life. You have wealth, you have power, you have two women to choose from and best of all you actually had some fun today!" Evil Calder said as he laid down on Calder's shoulder.

"Is that all you can think about?" Pure Calder asked. "I don't now, you tell me. I was thinking about the jacking off part but you know touching such smooth, silky skin wasn't so bad either." Evil Calder said with a small laugh.

"That's not it. I mean, yes I do feel bad about that. It's just something else." Calder replied. "You know what the doctor said is still stuck in my head. Do you have some sort of medical illness? Why would your heart rate pick up so fast when your near Lady Syria." Pure Calder said with a small smile.

"Does it matter? The lady hates his guts and he had to ask his big brother for help. With a face like his, he would be lucky if anyone would even glance at him voluntarily." Evil Calder replied. "Are you not going to ask why I'm feeling guilty?" Calder asked as he stopped walking.

"We're you, we know why you're feeling guilty and don't care. We want you to focus on other parts of your life an avoid that topic altogether." Evil Calder said bluntly.

"Calder, can you please focus on the bigger picture? You want to save everyone here don't you? You may not see yourself as Calder but you are him and this is your life right now. You can't let your personal feelings get in the way of stopping what's really important." Pure Calder lectured.

"But it's not fair." Calder whispered. "Life isn't fair. You died as Taki, you will die as Calder if you lose your focus and everyone will go down with you. Murdered, family, friends and innocent people in a sea of blood. At least you won't be leaving this place alone.... but do you really want that?" Evil Calder asked.

"No." Calder said as he shook his head no. "Then turn up that charm! Go and plan out this outing and make sure you impress Lady Britille." Evil Calder said with a toothy grin. "Lady Britille?" Pure Calder and Calder said in unison. "Why not? She showed interest at the picnic. Losing that V card with her would be fun and exciting." Evil Calder said as he got up like a bolt of lightning. "But what about Lady Syria?" Calder asked.

"Lady Syria would be trained the way you want her to be and you don't have any experience. You would at best bend her over, have her legs apart and push against a wall as you took her from behind." Evil Calder said as he simulation the action into the air.

"But Lady Britille, oh, Lady Britille! She would have you do this, then this, then this and -?!" Evil Calder said as he jumped from pose to pose before Calder brought up his hand and smushed him away. "No thank you." Calder said.

"Calder have you ever thought why you're so fixated on Lady Syria?" Pure Calder asked. Calder brought his gaze to his other shoulder and pursed his lips. "You need to properly think why you are so focused on her and not make an even bigger mistake." Pure Calder said before he poofed away. "Why do I want her?" Calder asked himself.

"Mei wrote other novels and if I think carefully.... My actions would be mean.... No, there's no way." Calder said dismissively. "It's not the same way as when I was with Ting Ting. I mean what Ting Ting and I had was real... this place is Mei's messed up novel. It's not real, this place is not real so... so how did I get here? I felt pain... did I bleed? Will I really die here if I'm killed? What happened to me? How did I get here in the first place? What will happen if I actually die? Where will I go?" Calder asked himself.

"I think you would be reunited with our creator." A voice called out. "Our creator? Who would that be exactly, Mei or some divine being?" Calder asked. "I don't know who Mei is but I would hope you're not forgetting about our sacred creator Pavani. The Goddess who is protecting and blessing our world." The voice said.

"P-Pavani, yes. She is the Goddess of this region and there are others that protect the other regions but is she really the over all creator?" Calder asked.
