As soon as we landed on the island of Darkness I started to feel uneasy. I crept forward sword drawn, Anyira followed closely. Once we reached Temple of Darkness, six members of the tribe greeted us unpleasantly at the entrance.
"You are not allowed here!" the leader of the group said.
"We are here to see Lord Darbuse." I said bravely.
"We shall not allow entry." the general said.
By now almost the whole tribe Darkness surrounded us. Anyira moved closer to me.
I walked up to the general and pointed my sword at him "Let us enter or we have to rip you up." I said angrily.
He grabbed the end of the sword, blood spewing from his hand, yanked it out of my hand and tossed it off to the side. It hit the ground and disappeared.
Before I knew it my hands were behind my back and we were walking down a long hallway. I could feel two guards holding my hands in place.
"I know how to walk on my own you know." I said very flatly.
"Shut it!" one of them said and put thier hand on the back of my neck and pushed me forward.
Soon we came to a stop at the end of the hallway. The general opened the Large door revealing a throne room, and there perched atop the throne was Lord Darbuse.
"What shall we do with these two my Lord." The general said bowing.
"Well look who it is." Darbuse said with his signature smirk. "Let her go." He said standing up, sword of Darkness in hand.
They let go of my arms.
"Why did you come here Myira?" Darbuse said boldly.
I could still sense the unfamiliar power coming from him. "I came for your blessing. But I know you won't give it to me by will." I said looking him in the eye.
"My blessing? My BLESSING!" He said laughing hysterically.
I looked at him with an annoyed look on my face and snapped. I held the sword toward him. He smirked. All of the guards raised their weapons. "Boys, this is no way to treat a guest now is it? Lower your weapons it is just a simple duel." he said gripping his own sword tighter.
All of the guards lowered thier weapons.
"Let's end this once and for all Myira." He said walking slightly closer but still far away.
"We'll see." I said preparing myself for what is to come...
