Chapter 25: Bloodline and Rituals

Alexander woke up early in the next morning and had good breakfast made by Tobby. Alexander arrived in the garden and saw everybody waiting for him. Alexander conjured a tub and poured all the dragon's blood in it. Alexander then transferred the knowledge about wards in the minds of his men. Alexander said, " These runes are for stablishing various wards. Don't botch them up as you can get yourself killed. The elves are sensitive to magic so they will teleport you out in case of any mishap. " Carter and his men quickly and efficiently laid down the wards. Alexander supplied magic to activate the wards and also put his men on standby if more power is required.

Alexander had decided to put up the wards as he didn't know what would happen when he drinks the dragon's blood. Alexander had seen that in cultivation worlds, people get bloodline of a beast by drinking it's blood and surviving the after effects but he was sure that he would not die due to his adaptibility ability.

Alexander moved towards the tub and put his hand into it. Alexander used his past viewing ability to know the origins of the blood. The blood was indeed dragon's blood or you can say it is a mixture of blood of various dragons. Alexander was astonished to find traces of dormant genes in the blood. Alexander felt his dragon bloodline stirring to consume this dormant blood but Alexander did not know how to awaken this dormant blood. Alexander thought, " My bloodline instincts are screaming at me to drink these dormant blood. How can I awake this blood? Think, Alexander, think. It's a unique chance to strengthen my bloodline. May be consuming enough dragon blood may change me into a dragon like that protagnists of certain worlds. Even if I don't change into a dragon, my strength and magic will increase dramatically. But how can I achieve this?" Then, an idea came to Alexander. Alexander thought, " I can use king's might. A king can do anything if he has sufficient king's might."

Alexander poured his king's might into the blood and willed the blood to be purified. Alexander saw the amount of blood deceasing rapidly. It dropped to 10 litres and stopped. The dragons of this world needed magic to remain strong and healthy. The degradation of magic decreased the magic present in the blood of dragons to weaken. Slowly, the dragons fell to the state they were in now, pets and slaves of weak creatures like humans and goblins. This particular batch of blood also contained the traces of blood curses which the goblins of this world had casted to control the dragons. Alexander felt so strongly about this matter was because he had dragon's bloodline so he also had a dragon's pride and ruthlessness.

Alexander then converted his magic to king's might as the earlier purification took a lot of king's might of it. The king can convert any energy he has to king's might, the rate of conversion is 10 to 1. The king cannot convert infinitely, he can convert up to the total king's might, he has gained by conquering various worlds and it's people. Also, the king can do this only 3 times in a particular world. Alexander filled up his king's might and started the awakening of the dormant blood. Alexander saw that the blood started shrinking and slowly solidifying. In the end, the blood became a solid sphere, the size of which was equal to a car tire. Alexander seeped his king's might to check the state of dormant blood and found that the blood was close to it's awakening. Alexander had already spent all his king's might.

Alexander ordered Tobby to being him food. The good elf that he was prepared a banquet the size of Hogwarts opening feast for Alexander and Alexander eat it all. It took Alexander 4 hours to finish all the food. Then, Alexander thought something and turned to his men who were having their lunch and said, " Carter!!! After having your lunch, send one of our men who was not with us yesterday to check up on Gringrots, don't get caught. Li!!! How many books did you brought back with you? "

Alexander then asked Tobby to send one of the elves to bring him the Daily Prophet. Alexander spat out the juice that he was having when he read the headlines. The Prophet had at his first page, the picture of broken down building of Gringrots. The Daily Prophet had claimed that a terrorist attack took place on Gringrots with the idea to steal it's riches. The goblins valiantly fended off the attackers but lost many of their men. The attackers were many and powerful because they in their fight had nearly reduced Gringrots upper floors to rubble. The amount of praise the little blighters were given gave Alexander an idea about how much money the goblins had spent to mislead the wizards.

Alexander cancelled his previous commands but ordered Tobby to build a library to house all the books Li has brought and they will be collecting in the future. Alexander recovered his magic and king's might and once again, started the awakening process. After nearly consuming all his king's might for a second time, the dormant blood finally awakened. The blood was like molten silver and very magically potent. Alexander could feel the magic emitting from the blood. This was the most this blood could be refined, the quantity of blood was not that much, just equal to a big jug of water but it was enough.

Alexander took a deep breath and drank the blood. Alexander felt the blood entering his body and getting absorbed into his body. Alexander was confused that nothing happened but then he felt incredible pain emerging from his body. As Alexander withered in pain, he could hear the shouts of worry from his present subjects. Alexander not wanting anyone to disturb the process, activated the wards. After hours of pain, Alexander regained full control of his mental facilities and checked his body. The blood of the dragon had changed his body. Alexander used his past viewing ability to know what the hell happened to him.

When Alexander had drank the blood, the bloodline of dragon seeped in his body to devour the already present dragon bloodline in order to improve itself. The pain he felt was from the clash of the two bloodlines then his ability to adapt kicked in and started to combine both the bloodlines to provide full advantage to Alexander. This caused both the bloodlines to fight back but the adapting ability was provided by king's bloodline so the king's bloodline also fought back. All this fighting caused immense pain to Alexander but in the end the king's bloodline won and Alexander gained a completly new bloodline.

The dragon's blood which he drank was from a magical dragon and his already present dragon bloodline was of lesser elemental dragon. Both of them combined and now all the elements awakened by Alexander advanced to minor grade. Elemental awakening was divided into initial, minor, major, full, synchronization grade. A elemental core forms in the body after major awakening and follows the same process as the magical core. Full awakening comes after the the elemental core advances to the crystal stage and synchronization happens when the elemental core merges with the body. Due to this Alexander had turned into quarter dragon and now only needed to further consume dragon's blood to fully change into a dragon.

Alexander then turned into his dragon form and observed that his length had increased to 250 metres and his width has increased to 30 metres. Alexander further sense that he had become 10 times stronger in all areas. His magic now was equal to 30 ancient wizards with solid cores. Alexander was very happy but confused because of such changes in his strength. Alexander then filtered through the memories inherited by his dragon blood and came to know that the silver blood was from a moon level dragon. This world was previously a moon class world and Alexander by drinking the blood of moon class dragon had advanced to star level-9 warrior. The reason Alexander did not advance to moon level was because his kingdom was not advanced enough. A king rises and falls with his kingdom, Alexander would be able to jump to the next category only after his kingdom also reaches star level-9.

Alexander willed the wards to fall and saw his men running towards him. Carter asked, " Your Majesty!!! What happened? Are you alright?"

Alexander replied, " Nothing happened. It was the side effects of my bloodline evolution."

Alexander then prepared the rituals for strength increase and magic capacity increase. Alexander knew that the rituals had less effect on the more powerful people but Alexander wanted to try. The ritual circles cannot be drawn just anywhere, thankfully, the mansion they were currently living in had a ritual room. Alexander directed the elves in fixing the ritual room and conducted the ritual. Since Alexander had grown already so powerful, the rituals increased his strength and agility by a small margin but his magic capacity was increased to 40 solid cores. Alexander was finding it tedious to measure his magical power in such a way and asked Tobby to find if there was any spell to measure magical power. Tobby found the spell and Alexander ordered one of his men to cast it on him. The spell quantifies magic and showed Alexander's magical power at 40,000. According to his history books, Dumbledore's magical power was at 875 and Grindlewald's magical power was at 878 but Grindlewald through various dark rituals increased his power to 890. Alexander then started preparing for his magical core evolution. Each evolution makes the magic more potent so a score of 100 at gaseous stage and a score of 100 at liquid stage has huge difference between them.
