Midoriya walked out of the dorm and looked at the place where he had stayed for a few months for the last time. In this place, there were many memories. While some of them were hard to be called happy, they were still precious. In the past, he might not have been able to imagine that he would be able to enter this prestigious school, but it was different after he met All-Might. He changed, and he could become a hero, something which he longed for yet impossible to achieve.

He closed his eyes, and a wave of nostalgia hit his mind.

He knew that he couldn't stay any longer and had to leave, or else the more he would feel reluctant to leave. He had to leave since he knew it was impossible to stay, especially when everyone knew that Shigaraki and All-For-One were targeting him.

In other words, he would be targeted by Hokusai too.

It was impossible for him to stay in this place any longer, and he had to leave.

"Are you sure about this, Midoriya-boy?" All-Might asked for the last time. Naturally, he knew about Midoriya's decision, yet he couldn't stop it, especially when he saw those eyes. He could tell that Midoriya was serious and didn't want to get anyone involved. While it was hard, he could only support Midoriya since this was his wish.

Midoriya's wishes and words moved All-Might, along with the strange connection between him, causing All-Might to believe in him, even though they knew nothing would happen, especially with Mineta being around.

To be honest, in this world, no one was safe.

Even those people in a foreign country weren't safe either since Hokusai could create Kurogiri, giving him the ability to teleport to any country. There were many countries that supported the Paranormal Liberation Front, especially those weak and small countries which couldn't even support themselves in front of the local villains, yet there were also many countries that reproached this organization, especially those strong and powerful countries.

If it was before All-For-One might not do anything, but with Hokusai, there was no mercy.

There were many countries that had become Hokusai's victims, and a few of their cities were destroyed by him.

This was why even though this country was rampaged by the Paranormal Liberation Front, they still felt better since they weren't the only miserable ones. Many countries were tortured by Hokusai, including the United States, China, Russia, UEA, England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and many others.

There was no mercy.

More importantly, All-For-One had a lot of friends outside, and they were also doing their best to make this world become more chaotic.

This was why Mineta, All-For-One, and Shigaraki had become the most dangerous criminals in the world.

Yet, what had happened on the outside had nothing to do with All-Might and Midoriya since, in their minds, they only thought that One-For-All was targeted by those villains and staying in the Yuuei would bring more harm to everyone.

With that decision, Midoriya decided to leave after he left letters to everyone, including Mineta. As of now, he was like a lonely hero who was about to face everyone alone.

But...

"Where are you going this late at night, Midoriya?"

All-Might and Midoriya were startled, but while All-Might sighed in relief when he saw Mineta, Midoriya felt strange for some reason.

Why?

Why, among all the people that could find him, it had to be Mineta?

Still, Midoriya also asked nervously since he was afraid that Mineta knew what he was planning, "Wh-What are you doing here, Mineta-kun?"

"Shouldn't you answer my question first?"

"..."

"Do you want to leave Yuuei?"

Midoriya gritted his teeth and said, "Please don't stop me, Mineta-kun. You have read the letter, right? It's dangerous for me to stay here. I have to leave."

"Er... why do you think I am here to stop you?"

Mineta was calm and didn't seem to have any intention of bringing Midoriya back.

"Didn't you hear me?! I have to go!" Midoriya was angry at that moment. He wasn't sure why he had always wanted to compete with Mineta, but he felt whenever he saw him, he felt like there was something inside him, screaming why it couldn't be him.

Yes, Midoriya admitted that he was jealous of Mineta.

Midoriya had gotten the power of All-Might, so shouldn't everything be easy?

Yet, reality gave him a slap on the cheek.

Even if he got the power of All-Might, he was nothing special.

To be honest, Yuuei was the safest place in this country, especially with Mineta and the technology from Nezu, but Midoriya didn't want to stay since he thought he would bring everyone trouble. No, he just wanted to show that he could be the best despite being alone. Naturally, those thoughts were kept inside his heart, and the others couldn't hear them.

"Even though Shigaraki, All-For-One, and Hokusai are targeting you?"

"Isn't that more reason why I should leave?"

Mineta shook his head. "No, you should stay. If you go out carelessly, you will get kidnapped by Hokusai; then your Quirk will be stolen by All-For-One or Shigaraki." If there was no Hokusai, he would just leave Midoriya alone, but Hokusai was around, so it was better for Midoriya to stay.

"No, I won't! I will protect this Quirk! No one can steal it!"

Midoriya shook his head since he had an experience. When Shigaraki wanted to steal his Quirk, all the previous generations of One-For-All did their best to stop it, and it was possible. No, he knew that All-For-One and Shigaraki could steal his Quirk, but when he faced Mineta, he wanted to show what he was capable of.

Mineta didn't say anything and just stared at Midoriya, but under his stare, Midoriya seemed to be unable to look at him straight and looked away.

"Midoriya, is it only me, or you don't like me?"

"..."

"Midoriya-boy...." All-Might looked at Midoriya in surprise.

Midoriya didn't say anything and lowered his head.

"Well, this is a coincidence since I don't like you either."

"In my eyes, you're just a useless boy who can do nothing. You want to be a hero, yet all you do is cry and cause a lot of trouble."

Midoriya couldn't say anything and just lowered his head.

"I know the truth that you got your Quirk from All-Might, right?"

"What?!"

Midoriya looked at All-Might in surprise, but All-Might could only look away.

Midoriya wasn't sure why, but he felt like he was being betrayed.

"I am not sure why All-Might gave you his Quirk, but I think he has made the wrong decision. You're not fit to become a hero. Maybe, you should give up that Quirk for a better person and become a useless student like before."

Mineta snorted as he looked at Midoriya. "What? Can you say something? How disappointing. Can you even talk one or two back?" He thought that it was why he could get Uraraka since this kid didn't have a backbone.

"...take that back."

"What?"

"Take that back!" Midoriya stared at Mineta angrily. "I am not useless! I will become the number one hero!"

"Then, show me." Mineta looked at Midoriya calmly. "Show me that you're not useless."

"...how?"

Midoriya wasn't sure, but even if Mineta only stood there, he felt an invincible pressure, but he gritted his teeth since he would show him that he wasn't useless.

"It's easy." Mineta smiled. "Fight me."
