This story didn't start with the point of view of Mineta.
Instead, it started from the point of view of the vice president of the 1-A Class, Momo Yaoyorozu.
After the incident on the criteria, everyone returned to their class.
Aizawa also came and explained what had happened before. However, he didn't tell the details and only said that everything was because of the press.
"Mineta, good job over there."
"It's something that I have to do, Sensei."
Momo stared at Mineta from the back and couldn't help but smile. However, when she thought about his girlfriend, she could no longer smile. She wasn't sure how to explain this matter, but she had this unnamed feeling she couldn't erase after he saved her on the Quirk Apprehension Test. She kept thinking about him, whether it was night or day, whether she was sleeping or taking a bath. She knew she was weird for thinking so, especially when they only knew for a few days and he had a girlfriend.
Momo closed her eyes and hoped this feeling would disappear soon since it was painful.
"But how did you know that it was the press?"
Aizawa had heard how Mineta had instructed the evacuation previously.
"I have good eyes, and I happened to notice the press outside."
"Good eyes?"
Mineta was calm as ever and even seemed a bit lazy. "It's like someone who is good at studying, sports, or running. It isn't like a "Quirk," but rather something that is born naturally."
"You mean like a talent?"
"Something like that."
He didn't make it clear and said, "And I happen to have good eyes."
Aizawa nodded and didn't say much.
Everyone also nodded since they understood his example.
Even if a "Quirk" existed, sometimes someone was born with a certain talent.
The most straightforward example was someone who could easily study.
"Well, leave this matter aside. Go and change into your hero costume. We're going out for the next lesson."
"Huh? Where are we going, Sensei?" Kirishima asked.
"Be the hero everyone needs, whether it's a flood or any other disaster. It's a Trial of Rescue!"
Aizawa showed a plate with "Trial of Rescue" written on it. He also explained that his lesson would be held by three people, him, All-Might, and someone else. He also told them that the lesson would be held in a different place, and they would need to take a bus to arrive at their destination.
Everyone's reaction was mixed, some were excited, and some were troubled since this class was different from their previous battle.
"Sensei."
Mineta raised his hand and asked, "Can I ask a question?"
Momo was quickly attracted by Mineta.
"What?"
"Are we going to class normally after what has happened before?"
"What? Do you want to go home or something? We're in Yuuei! You have to go beyond what others do," Aizawa said flatly, yet his voice was quite passionate.
Everyone nodded, hearing his voice.
"I know I might overthink, and I am sorry if I hold the class back, but Yuuei is known as one of the safest places in this country. It was already abnormal for a group of press members to enter the school ground. Don't you think that it is weird?"
Aizawa was in silence for a while, but then he said, "You don't need to worry. If something happens, me, All-Might, and the other will protect you."
Mineta stared at Aizawa for a while and didn't say anything.
The two stared at each other, and the class seemed to be in a strange, tense atmosphere.
Bakugou seemed couldn't handle it anymore and wanted to say Mineta was a coward, but Mineta smiled and said, "Is that so? Then, I will believe you, Sensei."
"Good." Aizawa nodded and said, "Then, quickly change into your costume."
Momo looked at Mineta worriedly and asked, "Everything will be okay, Mineta-san." She thought he was worried about something, so she felt she should do something like how he had made her feel better before.
Mineta turned his head and gave a gentle smile. "I hope so."
Momo wanted to say something, but Mineta said, "Let's go. Aizawa-sensei is a pain in the ass."
"I can hear you, Mineta."
"Ah, sorry, Sensei. I will be careful next time."
Aizawa's lips twitched, but complaining or scolding him would be a waste of time, so he didn't bother to say anything and only hurried them to change his costume.
Also, next time? Did Mineta mean that if he wanted to talk bad about him, he would do it when he wasn't there?
Aizawa didn't bother to ask and left first since wasting time definitely wasn't something that he loved.
Momo looked at Mineta and wanted to say something, but he had already gathered with his friends, who told him that his guts were as hard as steel for being able to say something like that to Aizawa.
She sighed and wondered whether she could talk with him later.
---
Hello, Mineta is here.
He had become class president, and naturally, he was tasked to call everyone's name when they entered the bus, so no one would be left behind. Still, he entrusted this task to Momo since he was quite depressed by how optimistic Yuuei was. It definitely had nothing to do with the fact he was lazy.
Definitely.
Still, if their next class was at Yuuei, he wouldn't bother to say anything.
However, their next class was outside of Yuuei, somewhere quite far away, and it needed to be reached by bus.
If he was a villain, he would be using this chance to attack.
Still, when he thought about it clearly, he didn't think a group of villains would attack them since it was impossible for them to know about their schedule.
What he did ask Aizawa before was telling him to be careful, but he knew that All-Might was there, so everything would be alright.
'Wait, All-Might?'
He was silent for a while, but he shook his head since he felt he was overthinking.
As he had said before if a group of villains wanted to attack them... No, attack All-Might since he didn't think someone would target a new student like him.
Still, if the group of villains wanted to attack All-Might, they had to know their schedule, so unless there was a rat who would remind those group of villains, everything would be alright.
However, just in case.
He wanted to be careful, so he observed everyone. His eyes also kept looking at their reactions one by one, but he could see nothing. He let out a sigh, thinking even if his eyes were good, it didn't mean he could see the emotion or dark thoughts they kept.
He felt everything was useless, so he didn't bother to think.
Even if something happened, he believed he would be okay since he didn't think anyone could catch him. As for the others, leaving All-Might, Aizawa, and another teacher aside since he knew they wouldn't ask for his help, he would save the girls.
As for the guys?
Everything depended on the situation.
After all, even in the titanic, Jack gave up the door for Rose even if they could stay alive together by using that door as a float. The lifeboat only took the children and the women first instead of the men when the titanic capsized.
He could only say that the world was unfair to man.
However, when he was asked whether he wanted to become a woman or a man, he would say a man without hesitation since he was comfortable with it.
"Has everyone entered?" He checked once again.
"Yes!"
They answered at the same time from inside the bus.
"Come in, Mineta! I have saved a seat for you!" Sero said from the back seat.
"Okay."
He nodded, then looked at Momo. "Should we enter, Yaoyorozu-san?"
"Yes, Mineta-san." Momo nodded, but then she hesitated and asked, "Um, Mineta-san."
"Hmm?" He stopped and looked at her curiously.
Momo stared into his eyes for a while, but her head was blank since she wasn't sure what to say again. Should she tell him that everything would be okay? However, this strange emotion kept making her unable to calm down, which made her depressed.
"What's wrong?"
"Hurry up and enter! Don't waste any more time!" Aizawa scolded.
He rolled his eyes and wanted to say that Aizawa wouldn't be able to marry if he continued like this, but Aizawa might argue that people didn't think a marriage equals happiness either, so he didn't bother to say a comeback. "Let's go, Yaoyorozu-san."
"Yes."
Momo nodded and sighed once again since it was really hard to say what she wanted to say in her heart.
