First Kill

It was late in the evening when they reached Border Town. As they were Anbu Ops they cannot let the civilians find them otherwise Kiri ninja's will be alerted. So they began moving in the shadows.

After entering one of the old and empty place devoid of civilians they decided to make it their temporary base.

"Cat and Mouse, both of you will go to the south. Panda you will go east. Crow you will go west and as for me, I will go north of the town. Here take these and inform when you find about the target",said Kakashi while giving them the communication device.

[A/N - Yes they have communication device that run by chakra or something as most of you have seen in Naruto series that they use communication device during Chunin Exam.

Another thing about this mission is that Mei Terumi has just became the Mizukage, so these assailants are remaining pawns of Yagura or more specifically Obito

Now let me clear the codenames for you as many were asking about it. Uzuki is Cat, Tenzo/Yamato is Mouse, Crow is Itachi, Kenshin is Panda and Dog is Kakashi]

Kenshin's POV

After some warning and other details from Dog we began moving towards our respective directions.

The Border town is very flourishing. Damn the Lord (The merchant whom they were protecting from the shadows) of this place must be rich by selling supplies to Land of Water and Land of fire. No wonder Daimiyo will start a war if he is dead.

Well I have to become stronger and faster because with the current speed of growth I will be only at Hashirama and Madara level during War but there are still Jinjuriki Obito or Jinjuriki Madara and of course Kaguya is also there.

I have to understand chakra nature transformation of lightning, fire and wind to create a new Kekkei Tota "Solar Release" and if possible achieve Sage mode of Solar Release. I have also thought of Solar Release jutsu's.

I have to also learn Fuinjutsu, Flying Thunder God jutsu, Iryo Ninjutsu and improve my chakra control. And I only have 10 years to do all of these. I hope I will be able to complete them all.

Tenzo and Yagua's POV

"Why I have to work with you Cat and that newbie is doing it alone", complained Mouse.

"Shut is you mouse, Panda is a newbie but is very strong and that's why he is told to search alone", said Cat.

"But I don't feel good. A newbie and that too a decade younger than me is stronger that me. Damm it", said Mouse.

"Well I don't feel any more better than you but this is the truth. 1st it was Crow and now Panda. Damm after talking with you I am feeling sad", said Cat.

Itachi's POV

This place is so nice unlike my home which is riddled with some disgusting people. Well at least after hearing Kenshin I have decided my opinion on this matter and protect my dear brother.

Kenshin, such a good kid. I hope Sasuke will grow up to become as powerful as him. I can't let Sasuke die due to foolish decision of elders.

Why is Madara still alive. And why does he want to destroy Uchiha Clan that he was a part of? and if I didn't comply to him, he is going to kill every body including Sasuke. But will I be able to kill mother and father. Shishui my friend I hope you were with me now. Now I can't decide anything.

*sigh* Well I can only do what I can, the day before Uchiha's will start rebel I will kill everyone and save Sasuke. And I can then die by his hands. As a Uchiha I refuse to die by anybody else.

Kakashi's POV

What Kenshin said is right, he is doing everything he can to protect his family but what about me? Why am I doing this? My both father died due to Villagers blame.

My friend Obito died due to my fault and I killed Rin. My teacher and his wife died protecting the village. So what is my reason for continuing to be a ninja.

"Slap"(slapping his own cheek) How can I be thinking something like this in between my mission. I still have friends like Guy and there is Naruto, though I cannot talk with him due to Hokage's order. I will try to protect him from shadows as much as possible.

Third Person POV

After searching for a while Kenshin didn't found anything at all. He also used his sensory powers to sense any high level ninja's near him but didn't find anything.

But after few minutes, Kenshin hear sounds from his communication device.

"It's Mouse and Cat, we have found the target. They are in an old temple 300 meters Southeast of the merchants house", Kenshin heard Tenzo's voice from the device.

After that Kenshin started to move in that direction. It was near him so it took 2-3 minutes to reach there. Itachi came after another 3-4 minutes. Last one was Kakashi who came after another 5 minutes.

"Okay. Have you checked the temple and his surroundings", asked Kakashi to Uzuki and Tenzo.

"Yes sir, we have checked and there are no civilians nearby", said Uzuki.

"And there is only two door out of the temple. And we don't know much about inside the building. But there are some noises coming from inside", said Tenzo.

"Good and Panda have you sensed their number and power level?", asked Kakashi.

"Yes Sir, there are 8 assailants of which 3 are Jonin level but below you and crow. The other 5 are chunins but all of them are low to mid level chunin. There are also 5 civilians which looks to be hostages but their chakra is fluctuating", said Kenshin.

Hearing that everyone was shocked as there are 8 people of which 3 were jonin and also 5 hostages. But they still made a plan to finish of the targets.

After waiting for 2 hours till it become midnight, they started to move. Itachi and Kenshin were moving from one side and Kakashi, Uzuki and Tenzo from the other side of the temple.

As soon as they enter, they saw their targets and used smoke bomb as a cover. Just after they used smoke bomb the jonin level enemies got alerted and tried to alert chunins but it was all for naught as Kenshin and gang quickly finished all 5 chunins in single attack

Then Kakashi and Itachi picked one opponent to fight and for the last one Kenshin and Tenzo fought with him. Uzuki quickly took the 5 hostages out of there.

After fighting for a few minutes, Kakashi and Itachi have almost defeated their enemies. Kenshin and Tenzo have already killed the enemy due to their fantastic team work of Tenzo fighting the enemy from long range while Kenshin fighting at close combat.

Kenshin felt like vomiting after killing his enemy but soon managed to calm down telling himself that to survive in this world and protect your loved ones, you have to kill your enemies. And he also know how powerful the enemies are going to be. So he calmed down very quickly.

After another five minutes later, Kakashi killed the target but Itachi captured the enemy and used Sharingan to question him. They found out that it was order from last Mizukage to start a war with Konoha.

After that they found Uzuki who was near the hostages. And anyone can tell that she is fuming with anger.

"What happened Cat. Why are you angry?", asked Kenshin.

"Panda see the victims to know what they have done", said Uzuki.

Kenshin and other quickly went to the victims. Kenshin was shocked to see the inhumane side of humanity. The five victims were girls of age 15-16. There was scar all over their bodies, they have raped. But the brutality was something that couldn't be described.

"Please kill us"

" We cannot live like this"

"Please let us die and be free from all this pain"

When Kenshin went near them, they all started to beg him to kill them. Hearing them Kenshin's heart was in turmoil. He felt their pain.

"Okay" Kenshin didn't say anything else released his chakra and coated his body and blade with Lightning Cloak jutsu and said,"Breath of the Sun: Fourth Form- Parhelion Rainbow". After that Kenshin vanished from his place and the next second all the five hostages died. Kenshin tried to make as painless as possible.

Kakashi and others were shocked after seeing Kenshin's resolve. Like that they completed their mission and returned back to Konoha. Return Journey was not very happening, only Kenshin was feeling a bit down after killing the 5 hostages and other members tried to console him. After this incident Kenshin's resolve to become stronger only strengthened.
