"Maze I need you to stay on the boat and stay quiet. Protect it for me."

Maze didn't seemed thrilled that she was going to have to stay there, I brought her into the boats cabin and set her down. I grabbed a bag from the cabin that had coins in it. Coins are made out of pure gold making it so any country will take them and the currency can stay relevant. After grabbing the bag and petting Maze one last time I left, I had heard people before I put her inside. I jumped out of the boat and walked across the beach and to the village. The village wasn't very big and a lot of the houses had burns on them same with a lot of the stands in the small market. There was an area that was still smoldering so they much of just recently put the fire out. There were also some people crying. I went to investigate and saw a small burnt body. I'm sure the people around were probably family and friends the body was still smoldering a lot and was starting bf to catch on fire again. The little body was trying to move, there were parts of the child the weren't biting but the didn't have water or a way to reach the water to keep the fire out. I heard them saying she was going to die, and that they can't waste there drinking water on trying to put the flames out. This child had done nothing wrong but they are right they all seem to be poor so they most likely can't afford to waste time turning salt water to fresh water. The child was screaming and crying because of the embers biting her skin and from the fire that was sparking again.

"Can I try to help her?" I said loud enough for people to hear. I knew I needed to ask before I did anything.

"Yes, please..." the woman said while crying.

I bent down and let my finger touch the ground and I focused. I pulled water from the ocean through the ground. I allowed the water to lay on the girl where there was burns putting them out.

"I'm not sure I can do anything more than this for her. I'm not a healer but if you mix mud with sea weed and the inside of an aloe plant together she should heal and it'll stop the bleeding."

People began to say thank you now there heads to me. It was clear nobody here had abilities.

"Thank you, the god have answered my prayers." The women said.

"The beast is still free, could you stop it?" A man said. He was clearly the one in charge as everyone parted and bowed there head.

"What happened?" I asked.

"The beast, a ship was buy and was sunk after that a flying bird that breaths fire has been on the lose, burning our home and crops and children. The gods gifted me with power as well, but all I can't defeat it." The man said, his eyes glowed green as his fist lit on fire. "The creature burned me with its fire when I went after it, and it has terrorized us since."

"I can try, but I'd have to find it first. I'm unable to promise anything though." I said.

"It lives up in the on the mountain and has burnt down all the trees around it's home. Bring the warrior a horse to take her to the creature!" With the people had me follow to where there were horses. They were allowing me to choose. I saw one off to the side isolated from the rest, he shined white like the snow. I pointed to it as I said "I wish to take that one."

"That one came the same time was the other creature, we believe it was on the from the ship. Although it won't let any of us get close, he is still young. We have called him Neva." The same man said.

I walked over to where Neva was and he got angry stomping him feet.

"Hush Neva. Your ok." I reached my handout I let a small bubble of water form in my hand. He found it interesting and bite it. He let out a whinny. I had gained Mazes trust very quickly, I don't know why but I felt connect to her, but I felt a connection with all of the animals that were at the place Hunter took me. All were genetically modified I believe. Maybe it's because I'm possibly an elemental and that makes me closer with nature. I don't really understand it or maybe it's another ability.

In all honesty I hadn't ever been good with animals before though. They had almost always disliked me or ran away. I was just kind of hoping for the best here, but I wonder if it's genetically modified if they can tell that I am too. That means I won't hurt them hopefully and if that's how they see it then maybe they'll work with me. I can only hope for the best. Neva looked me in the eyes I could see him thinking. I wasn't sure what but in the end he allowed me to pet him.

I had chosen a horse nobody else could ride to go out an end to a creature who can spit or blow fire to help people I had never meant. It's a good distraction from the fact that I have to meet more royals though. They are probably all mean and will most likely try to bully me or start something. I put a bridle and a saddle, they had them sitting out and they had left to pick a new horse for me thinking Neva wouldn't let me near him. I road him out of the stables.

"Where did you day it was found?" I asked.

"The mountain. I'm surprised he let you near him left alone to tack him, you must truly be special. I wish you the best, but you should hurry there is a storm coming quickly. This is a type of storm that I believe nobody will want to get caught in." He said.

I looked up at the clouds were big and dark, they covered part of the sky and were moving towards us. He was right, I won't be able to make it back in those conditions. The water will be to ruff I will be forced to stay here, even if I left right now I don't think it would do any good.

"I will see you again soon then." I said.

We road away. Neva ran at a faster pace then any horse I had ever seen. He only slowed down we reached burnt trees. He still continued moving forwards showing no fear or hesitation. We walked for a while before I found a bird. It was a pretty big bird it was about the size of a full grown goose but had the build of a eagle, it's feather red gold and black. It's head and tail we're ready and gold same with a little on its wings but the rest of its body was black. It's tail was look and had some feathers in the tail that looked like peacocks tail feathers except with reds and oranges and gold in it. It's eyes were bright yellow standing out against the red that surrounded it. The bird was beautiful, but this is the creature that had been burning people. I got off Neva and walked to get closer to it but then it did indeed blow fire at me and started flapping its wing which were the tips were of its feather were now burning a little. It was very beautiful.
