Xuilan bit her lip, unsure of how to react to his proposition. While she was sure she liked Chevre and his family, she wasn't certain if it was the right time, all the more getting into marriage.
"Ummmm… Chev, I like you, but are you sure you are not rushing into this?" She asked with both her brows furrowed.
Chevre walked back inside the room, making her take a few steps back. He closed the door behind him and walked over to her. He placed a hand on her waist while the other brushed the side of her hair. "I'm not really the fickle-minded kind of person. Nor do I easily admire someone... I'm afraid you've captured my affection in more ways than one."
