Heaven knew that the drugs she had let Ash slip into her coffee were not just normal pills. They did make one extremely tired, which was the desirable effect, but they had severe side effects too. After taking them even once, the body functioning of the victim would gradually start to deteriorate and in the end, most of their organs would fail. 

However, that wouldn't have mattered to a dying woman so Alexa had not cared much about it. But now that Shera was inviting her for a drink, how could she be sure that the latter was not using the same medicine on her? 

Now that she thought about it, it had been too easy to convince Ash to drug her boss.
