Another voice popped up, this time its sounded like a boy's. "Calm down, we're only a few minutes late. It's no big deal!"

A soft, gentle voice followed after. "P-please everyone, stop fighting!"

Both Li Mingzhu and Wu Xiuying's faces were filled with black lines as they listened to the extremely loud conversation happening at the other end of the courtyard. However, unlike Wu Xiuying, Li Mingzhu knew exactly who these people were. She knew the girls were Zhou Twins, Meiling and Ruo. From what she could remember, Zhou Ruo was a classic ao jiao, someone who was needlessly hostile towards people they liked, while Zhou Meiling played the role as the sweet ad quiet childhood friend. They were the first female leads introduced so Li Mingzhu isn't surprised that these girls weren't cut from the game. The Zhou Twins also happened to be the easiest ones to romance since they both had pre-existing crushes with the protagonist. But that wasn't what made them so popular. What really made the fans go crazy was the intense rivalry between the two girls!

Li Mingzhu didn't have a sister but if she did, she couldn't imagine being so cruel and underhanded towards her! Especially for a boy who just ended up dating both of them!

[Hey, System! Do you think I could mend their relationship? I don't really care which one of them ends up with the protagonist but if I can save their relationship then I get closer to finishing my mission!]

Li Mingzhu looked towards the school gates and spotted the group heading towards them. The Zhou twin's bright orange and red hair was easy to spot right away. Even from this distance, Li Mingzhu could tell that they looked identical. The only real difference was that Zhou Rou ties her red hair into impossibly long pigtails, had bright green eyes, and a red scarf that looked like Li Mingzhu's. Meanwhile, Zhou Meiling had her orange in a half ponytail, soft brown eyes, and a pink scarf instead of red.

[They still have to deal with those ridiculous uniform too.] Li Mingzhu thought as her eyes landed on the pair of boys walking aside them. She recognized the brown-haired boy right away. Hu Liang was the protagonist's best friend in the game and also his unofficial "wingman". In reality, he was just a wannabe ladies man who disappeared from the plot after he served his purpose and introduced the protagonist to all the girls.

[He always trailed after the protagonist in the game which meant that the boy beside is- Whoa!]

Li Mingzhu was absolutely shocked by what she saw. Smooth skin, strong handsome features, sharp amber eyes, and a mysterious air surrounded the boy.

There was no mistake. This boy was definitely the protagonist!
