THE SEA AND THE BREEZE

on the outskirts of city H a black Audi r8 speeding it's way towards the seashore as the car cutting the breezy wind drove it's way forward in the car rose turn up the mellow tune of her favourite song "by the sea side" she lower down the glass window of her car as she puts a hand on the wheel and another hand resting on the window as she put her face outward a bit to feel the breezy wind

a few strands of her fair from her loosely packed bun wavering towards her face as she push her hair up and tuck it behind the ear

it's around nine and the road was mostly empty a few trucks and cars passing by as she leisurely drove the car. she drove five more minutes before stopping by a convenience store she quickly got out of the car putting the car keys in her pockets she carefully cross the road .

after pushing the door a bell rang above her head and the counter lady look up to her and smiled. she casually walks towards the freezer and pick up a pack of six beer cans and a coke then she Stroll towards the snacks area and picked up some chips to go along with it before turning to the bill counter she saw that there is a sale going on for buy one get one free on the beers so she picked up another one before turning towards the counter .

the counter lady was in her thirties a bit cubby but gentle looking seeing so much alcohol she said warmly " be careful it's late don't drink too much it's bad for health kids should take care of themselves more " hearing it rose just faintly smiles said a soft "hmm i will " to her .

after paying the bill she pick up the stuffs and again cross the street put the drinks and snacks at the back and drove towards the see

in about fifteen minutes she reached her destination .

after she went out from the car she stretched her arms outwards as it was a pretty long ride her body was a bit cramped

she took the beer pack from the back seat with a chips packet and walk towards the beach .

the faint sea smell muddling with the breezy wind towards her nostrils she inhale the sent hard there was some other sweet peachy smell also lingered around faintly . she stared walking towards the beach but stopped on her step then she quickly remove her shoes from her feet and place it in the car before walking towards the beach . as the sands touch her feet she felt a tinge in her toes she loves walking in beach alone with a beer in her hand she feels calm. inhaling the sent of the mushy sand and sea she smiles closing her eyes.

It's Been quite a some time that she had visit this place it was one of her favourite place to come and clam her nerves but last two months were so hectic that she didn't even get a proper time to breathe.

placing herself comfortably in the beach she put down the beerpack beside her as she picked one can from it unpluck it and gulp a big mouthful in .the chilled beer in the summer night in the beach was quite a great feast for her .

after living by herself for past 8 years she was kind of used to it and bond a good friendship with her alone aloof self . staring at the moon and the stars in the black sky it was so beautiful that she was mesmerise by its beauty . it was very rare to see such clear sky in city H it was a good day she thought . as she was drinking her beer and chips quietly staring at the see as the water was just a touch away from her feet coming back and forth taking some sand along with it .

she felt her mind and soul getting calm all those disturbed thoughts getting erased from her mind as she close her eyes and breaths the air .

as time passes by she have already dunk 3 cans of beer smoothly . she was not a light drinker life's harsh truth made her strong and immune to alcohol quite nicely until she drank hard drinks or shots she won't get drunk easily and for her bear was like coke and water six seven cans is nothing to her .she had to atleast finish two packs for her to be a little drunk but then still u won't see any bad habbit or odd behaviour from her.

in the past whenever she gets a drink she would get drunk so easily and after getting drunk she will just cry in a corner like a baby . even now she laughs about those memories how much of a fool she was she thought a look of disdrain can be seen on her face for a few seconds before she turns in her normal cool and aloof self .

as she chugged down another two cans her phone suddenly vibrate from her left blazer pocket she put down her beer and quickly search her phone from her pocket .

after switch on see saw there is five miscalls from her home and some massages and emails.

as she browse her massages she saw kush had texted her she opens the text and smiles then chuckled a bit seeing her friend's funny texts " hey bunny wats up?"

"bunny reply me what are you doing??"

"bunny why my call is not going

through?"

"bunny how much carrots are you eats that you don't have time to read my text"

" bunny bunny * with two bunny emoticon* where are you hoping pick up my calls"

"bunny i am coming home you already promised me that you will pick me up you can't back down now . I will be very mad i m telling you "

"bunny , sigh i guess you are busy i have called jenny to tell you that I will arive at the airport at 4 pm okk so pick me up don't ditch me "

" i will be waiting and I will bring carrots too okay "

" see you soon bunny "

after reading the texts from kush rose smiled then pout a bit and mumble to herself 'i don't know why this man always calls me bunny it's not like I have two big teeth upfront nor i love carrots just cause I broke a raw carrots with my teeth in my shophomere class he always calls me that it's just not fair '

feeling injustice she typed

" monkey i will bring banana for you too huunh"

"mmm I will be there "

"yeah see you soon"

then touch the send button to sent the text then laughed by herself seeing the childish thing she is doing .

'kush always finds a way for me to smile' she thought as a fine smile form on her face

seeing the time on her phone she put the phone in her pocket and gulp down the remaining beer

standing up she brush off the excess sand off her bum

she picked up the cans and the packets and dump it in the bin outside the rode then she got in the car and drove off towards her house .
