Tom is cooking in the kitchen while Sab was playing with her phone when a news pop-up about unwanted pregnancy. Her eyes widen as she covered her mouth. She can't help to turn and look at Tom with worries.

After thinking for a while, she sighs. Her period still comes regularly and never missed. However, it would not be impossible for her to get pregnant especially now that Tom seems to get out of control.

After searching for most reliable contraceptives, she stood up and about to run out but stop. Thinking of her buying a contraceptive made her face blushed. How can a young woman like her who just barely in her 20s buy something like that?

She sat again and search for stores online selling a contraceptive. It's better this way than going there physically. Sab was so focused on her phone and did not notice the man standing behind the couch.

She almost drops the phone in fear when the man spoke. "What are you doing?" he asked in greeted teeth.

"No… nothing!!! She denied with an ugly smile then she closed and hides her phone.

"You want to take contraceptives?" he asked. He thought things were getting better between the two of them and in case he gets her pregnant, there will be no issue with it. However, his little wife has a different point of view.

If most women will do anything to crawl on his bed and would beg to god to be pregnant on his child, but his little wife seems doesn't want to bear his child. Why? He pinches her bottom in annoyance.

"Ouch..." she complained and look at him in red eyes.

"I forbid you to take any of that." He said in a serious tone.

Sab pouted and wanted to complaint, but Tom fierce glared made her swallowed things everything wanted to say. Thinking the possibility of her getting pregnant and him leaving her later or him dragging her to abort the baby made her eyes in tears.

She wiped her tears and tried to calm down. Her heart is pounding and resist to back down as she studied Tom's face. "Why would he not want her to take any precautions? Does this mean he wants to be with her? He would like it if they get conceive a baby later on?"

She analyzes again their situation but no matter what, it doesn't seem to make sense in any way. Though a lot of things have changed, she still a contractual wife. The two of them were like an ordinary couple in private, but outside there are total strangers, in the office, it's boss and employee relationship.

She is single, he is single in the eyes of the public. If she gets pregnant unexpectedly, how can she deal with the aftermath unless they reveal their relationship? However, making it public will be too troublesome.

If they will not reveal it, her reputation will be ruined and her baby will be judged, being born out of wedlock. She can take the criticism, but it would be too unfair for her baby. Thinking of it, making her angry already.

As a single in the eyes of many people, once she gets pregnant, this kind of incident will not be the first case in this modern-day, however, a lot of people have still conservative mind even those who were born in this era, the concept and image of the family are very solid and could easily judge harshly others without knowing the real situation. She herself has parents, both died early but was still bullied for not having one.

She has also witness kids being mean with other kids for only having a parent by their side during parents meeting and school activities. She doesn't want that for her kids to experience at all. Her eyes sparkled when she thought of a solution.

After dinner, Tom went to the study room and she went to another door and locked herself there. This man not allowing her to take any contraceptives so she will not be lenient to him. She was determined to stay away from him and follow their contract.

In the middle of the night, Tom did not see the sleeping wife as usual on the bed. He checked the 2 other rooms but cannot find the wife. He checked the last room that is further from the master's bedroom and cannot open it despite being unlocked.

He pushed a few times and it seems there is something blocking at the other side. Tom face turned green immediately. He knocked on the door for a long time, but no one answered.

"Open the door or I'll knock this down," he threatened. Tom waited for a few seconds but still no response from inside.

He got so agitated and started pouncing and kicking the door harder intending to destroy it. "Do you think this door can really stop me?"

"Open up and I'll be a little nicer to you. Come on open the door."

Sab waken up from the noise. She was confused initially, unable to comprehend what was happening. Hearing Tom and seeing how violent he is like the door being pounce from outside, her little heart almost jumps out from her chest.

She stood up and run to the door, unable to decide if it's safe or not to open the door. "Is this man crazy, he'll destroy the door soon if he will not stop. What should I do?" she panicked.

Seeing the nice heavy door cracking, she inhaled and remove the appliances blocking the door. As soon as the door opened, Tom pushed and cage her to the cold wall.

"It seems I'd been really nice to you lately. You dare to sleep in another room and locked it?" Tom speaks emphasizing every word.

Sab was choked by her words. She was so scared at Tom sharp gaze and unable to think of anything. He was the one who pushed her to do this. He was the one who doesn't want to use protections and now she was being blamed for trying to avoid unexpected pregnancy.

Will he be responsible if it happens? Maybe not and she is just following the marriage contract. She never expected him to be this angry. What is wrong with that?

Tom is very tall, and she is considered really short compared to him with very petite body. An angry version of him towering her made eyes red and her legs weakened. After a while, she is unable to take in his sharp gaze and her legs gave away. To avoid herself from falling, she unconsciously wrapped around Tom lean and sturdy waist.

Tom notice this and also wrapped around Sab's small waste almost carrying her. She looks scared and pitiful trying hard not to cry.

"Hu hu hu hu… "She cried out feeling very wrong. His anger is too much and she cannot understand it. As of now, she hated herself for being too weak in front of Tom. It is making her more depressed to unable to control her own emotions.

"You bad… why are you bullying me? Hu.. hu.. hu…" she cried out, buried her face on his chest and hit him.

Tom anger totally disappeared seeing the pitiful wife. He carried her back to their room, sat on the huge bed and let her sit on his lap.

He is always defensive and aloof to people, so he never experiences pacifying anyone. He felt useless for unable to say anything to pacify his little wife.

All his life, people who knew him will always try to curry favour from him and will try not to offend him in anyway. Normally, he doesn't need to be cautious with other people or care about others.

He grew up from his maternal grandfather's care since his parents were usually busy at their own agendas.

His parents were together due to business marriage and he was born because they need an heir. Nonetheless, their relationship was considered good though he never sees them act like a loving couple. They more like friends than lover even through these years.

However, on special occasions, they will always make sure that they are around and acted like any other family build by love. His maternal grandmother died early, so he is unsure of how the relationship between his grandparents. His grandfather stayed single despite so he thought that he might have loved his grandmother that much that's why he never remarries.

He did not also get involved in a romantic relationship seriously. He always thought that if he wants to get into a serious relationship, the woman must meet the requirements in mind. He never thought that there will be the time that his mind and heart will come to a time that will not be in sync.

Because of this, he has no idea how to be a good lover or what to do in a relationship. He always the one receiving, not the other way around. His heartache for being clueless. Making a decision involving millions of dollars seem much easier than thinking about how to pacify Sab.

He wipes the tears flowing like an open faucet. "Will you stop crying if I kiss you?" he asked in helplessness.

Sab suddenly stops crying upon hearing Tom's question. Thinking if she heard him correctly or not. However, Tom awkward gentle eyes tell her that he was serious.

"Hahahahaha… hahahahaha…" she burst in laughter. This man is really funny. She cannot comprehend how his brain is working. He looks a comedian in her eyes and can't help laughing.
