Acting cute

"How did you know— I mean, no, you're not the jerk. How can you be the jerk? Did any woman call you a jerk? I bet no girl ever called you a jerk," she gushed, "Regardless of what had happened, you can never be the jerk."

Her words seemed barely plausible, but she did have to put in her effort into buttering up with the hopes of him being convinced by them.

"A girl did," he pointed out.

'What's with the innocence you're radiating now? You are not supposed to seem this pitiful! I am seriously getting the chills from this.'

"A girl did?" she questioned, raising one of her eyebrows.

'That girl must have had lots of courage! I should applaud at you! Calling Min Soobin a jerk in front of his face is no easy matter.'

He nodded.

'What's with him acting cute now? Ah! Suddenly, I miss the cold Min Soobin; this side of his is too creepy.'

Oh Miyeon let out a laugh and spoke out, "I am sure that she would have called the horrible guys 'angel'. Either she is muddled or she has difficulty in recognising people. You should not pay much mind to a mere girl's word! She is a fool!"

"You call horrible guys 'angel'?" he asked.

"Huh? I do?" she said, seeming confused about the situation.

"Yes, you were the only one who called me a jerk. You met Taejoon due to a jerk, and apparently, that jerk was me. I apologise for being a jerk in the past, and—"

"Mr. Min, you have nothing to explain for," she stated, "As I have said, I am muddled. That's why, let's not pursue this. You're a real angel back in your highschool days, and I got totally crazy back then. I am sorry, but you are really not a jerk, trust me. You are an angel!"

"Ah! Doesn't that imply that I am a horrible guy? You call the horrible guys 'angel', right?"

Her eyes widened when he stated that, and the smiling expression on her face almost cracked. Why did Han Minhyun have to be this difficult? She would have poured out all of her frustrations to him.

Maybe she should do that after she received her payment and the contract is over— that is, if she got the opportunity to meet up with him.

"Mr. Min, do you mind continuing this conversation later on? I have to urgently go to the washroom now," she vocalised.

Before he was able to reply, she got up from the couch and hurriedly made her way to the door. Opening the door, she instantly rushed away from the room.

After she had left the room, Soobin let out a chuckle and mumbled, "Cute."

Coming into the realization of what he had just done, Soobin's eyes widened, and he pursed both of his lips together.

A dark look settled in his eyes, and raising his hand, he ran his fingers through his hair. Once again, he had acted upon his emotions and impulsively.

There was no problem with letting Oh Miyeon go to her apartment. However, he found himself reluctant to do so. Right now, there was no need for him to call her at here.

But knowing that she will be leaving tomorrow, he had the sudden compulsive urge to hold a conversation with her, and her reaction everytime he teased her seemed pleasing to him.

It was a wonder to him on how he found himself craving for Miyeon this much. There was no quality about the girl that stood out, but still she managed to catch his eyes.

Oh! By the way, tomorrow I will be changing the name of the novel to— Meeting again: Spoiled by the CEO.

The current title doesn't suit the novel that much now. I like this version of Miyeon and Soobin more. What do you guys think so far about it?
