Visit to the Mountain (Part 2)

They had got up early all excited about the visit to the mountain. They had slept early as there were no television or internet to occupy their time. To the children, this was difficult as they had grown us with the TV and Internet. But in a way, it was good as the Magical World had realized that their use was messing up peoples minds on Earth. Instead of gaining knowledge, people were using these media for entertainment and spending so much time that they had got addicted.

Early morning jog, drinking water from the stream after taking permission from the stream and getting a positive response was indeed a strange and exciting experience. After their morning ablution, changing into a new set of clothes, they were ready by 7.45 a.m. to partake of a sumptuous breakfast in the dining room and before 9 am they were waiting to be picked up to go to the mountain.

The Orbs who had come back feeling happy conveyed the response they had received from the crystals. They would be working on the crystals again today. Some more Orbs would join them, and the rest would travel with them to the mountains

At exact 9.a.m. 4 tiny cars with plane-like wings, but without wheels, glided and stopped in front of the door of the entrance to the building. They learned that these cars would hover just above the ground and you could easily hop in. They seemed to be working on some sort of hydraulic system. Each car accommodates 4 persons including one diver. Hence, 4 such cars had been sent to pick them up. As they hopped in, the cars first glided and then rose towards the sky. Thereafter, they flew straight to the mountain. The cars were flying just above the level of the treetops. They could see the star like aperture at the partition of the day and night skies. This aperture opened real wide to accommodate the entry of spaceships. They also saw the strip between the two skies.

The children enjoyed the heaven-like beautiful scenery below. Everything was just perfect. After 30 minutes of traveling, the cars landed right in front of the mountain on the day side. Everyone got off, and the drivers flew the cars away.

As they got off, there was a bus-like vehicle along with a driver waiting to take them inside the mountain. They all boarded the vehicle and the Orbs who had been flying with the cars also flew above this vehicle.

The vehicle entered a meandering tunnel and made its way up the mountain. After traveling about 15-20 minutes in the vehicle, which would probably be about an hour by foot, they came to a stopping area. The vehicle stopped and the driver asked them to alight as their destination had arrived.

Aarvin led them through the tunnel which went further up via a wide staircase and they were soon in a flat hall which had glass windows as well as a glass roof. The entire windows and roof of glass seemed to be in the form of a dome. In front of them and around them were a number of machines. The children did not know what the function of these machines was. But they all seemed important.

Aarvin called someone and soon a young man joined the children and Sherpa to guide them through the hall and explain what all the machines did.

The guide introduced himself saying, "My name is Inder and will be showing you the machinery here in the control room of the Magical World."

Please be careful, do not touch anything even accidentally as it can cause a major catastrophe on the satellite.

" As you can see all the machines have been arranged slightly away from the windows so that they cannot be visible from the bridge of the spaceships," Inder informed the students and Sherpa. "The aliens do not come here in their mother ships as those are too big. The mother ship remains in space and only their tiny sister ships or modules come to land here to get fuel, get supplies and exchange information."

"This machine here controls the opening and closing of the aperture that you can see through the computer screen. With the naked eye, it can be seen only as a tiny dot."

"The machine next to it controls the artificial stars and the artificial moon in the night sky. Adjacent to this machine is the one that controls the sun and the clouds in the day sky."

Inder then went to the opposite side and said the machines here control the satellite. " This one controls gravity. Without gravity, we would all be floating. These adjacent machines control the supply of oxygen and carbon dioxide required for breathing by men and animals as well as plants at night."

"We maintain just enough oxygen and Carbon dioxide to sustain lifeforms." He added.

"Now this machine here controls the water on the satellite which we need to drink and fish need to swim and survive in. Animals also need to drink water."

He further explained that a system has been evolved whereby one needs to seek permission to use anything on this satellite. This has been managed by implanting chips in all the things seen here. Even plants and the stream possess them. This was done by our great ancestors to inculcate a sense of responsibility and care for the environment.

He added that if the children asked the plant or tree or animal or even a bird about their name etc, they would gain full knowledge about the species, genera kingdom, etc.

The children were very happy about this information and would want to try it out when they got back to their dorms and the adjacent area where there were many trees and plants.

"What about the soil and the plants and animals? How do you manage those?" asked Ben.

"Well, we have a system that controls the soil and its content including the nitrogen-fixing bacteria and earthworms ants, etc," Inder replied. "That is also controlled from here."

"As regards the soil and plants animals etc, they all have originally come from Earth. Everything here is organic in such that we even use organic fertilizers and have never used chemicals."

"We are just sustaining their population and ensure all develop at the required rate. They do not overdevelop or overpopulate. All this is monitored through a few machines here and the next dome."
