CHAPTER 17: LEWD MR. DOUGLAS

Aisha was the one who prepared the breakfast since she didn't have to go to work early. Ethan gave her a new schedule following the 8 hours shift for the day. They also agreed to reinstate Kian's job because Aisha insisted. After preparing Eli to school, she then prepared Ethan's bath.

"Are you sure of dropping me to work today? Won't you be late?" Aisha asked Ethan.

"It's okay. My appointment with Mr. Douglas is in the afternoon anyway."

"But will you really wait for me after work? Coz I don't think that's a good idea." Ethan stared in her direction. She was putting on the black shoes he gave her last night.

"Do you want Kian to send you home instead?" He was annoyed.

"Hey!" She glared at him, "That's not what I mean. I was--- ahhh! Okay fine!" She gave up. She stood up to see herself in the mirror after she put on her new flat shoes. She was thankful. At least she wouldn't be having a hard time standing all day with her heels on.

Ethan smiled when he saw that the shoes suit her. Despite not wearing heels, it was very evident that she had long lean legs. Ethan also told her that she could wear black skinny jeans or at least slacks but she declined. She couldn't afford to blow her cover. She loved to do it but her workmates might think negatively about her special treatment so she settled with their pencil cut skirt. Ethan was upset because he knew how other guys eyed her when she was at work. Aisha surely knew, that was why she pulled her skirt down from time to time. It's already a relief that no one dared to touch her yet, aside from Kian who was ogling around her lately.

"See you later, Mr. Williams." Aisha kissed Ethan before getting off the car. Aisha told him to drop her in the parking area to avoid people seeing them together.

Larry saw his boss smiling from ear to ear. It was his first time to see him smiled after a long time. After dropping Stacy, they headed directly to the company.

It was a rare sight for the company employees to see Ethan in a good mood. For the whole morning during their business discussions and reports, they found it odd not to hear any curse or howl from their boss even if there were a lot of loopholes on their reports. He gave them chances to make another good reports. They were shocked and rumors started spreading around. Some gossips say that their boss was possessed; some says that he already divorced his unfaithful wife; some even says that he found a new wife. Rumors were everywhere.

Angel, who was in the company that day, overheard the rumors so she decided to visit Ethan in his office. She found Ethan beaming while looking at his phone. He looked like a teenager who received a text from her crush.

"So the rumors are true, huh." Angel said when she walked in. Ethan looked at her.

"Angel! It's been a while." He laid down his phone.

"I just arrived from visiting my dad in Japan. I dropped by to see if you are available for lunch."

"My appointment with Mr. Douglas is in the afternoon. I won't mind joining you since you're already here."

Ethan and Angel went to a Japanese fine dining restaurant since Angel loved Japanese cuisine. Angel Lockwood was a half Japanese and half American child who grew up in the United States. Her parents were one of the biggest investors of their company. Master Omni loved her and wanted Ethan to marry her. However, since Ethan saw Stacy, he defied his grandfather for the very first time. Angel liked Ethan but she chose to keep their friendship when Ethan married Stacy. She came back after staying in Japan for a year. She heard some rumors about Stacy's infidelity that's why she came back in hopes that Ethan would want her as a wife.

"So how are you and Stacy? I heard a lot. I hope you're okay." She purposely diverted their topic.

"We're doing just fine." He smiled.

"I heard about the divorce. I hope it's not true?'' Angel's tone was more of a question. She was actually hoping to hear it from Ethan but Ethan laughed and shruged it off.

"I hope we're not here to talk about my marriage life, because I'm doing perfectly just fine." He stated.

"Well, if you say so." Angel was disappointed not to hear what she wanted to hear but she didn't press it further. They talked about business. After some time, Ethan bid farewell since he had an appointment in the afternoon.

An investor named Douglas wanted to invest in their clothing manufacturing business so he wanted to see the latest designs that they have. Ethan decided to show him the manufacturing site. After that, they went to the White Lotus Store. Mr. Douglas was pleased to see the manufacturing site but he was more than delighted to see all the latest fashion designs displayed in the store. Ethan was accompanied by Larry and Dorothy, his secretary, as they tour Mr. Douglas with his personal assistant. While roaming around, Mr. Douglas spotted a beauty that was assisting a female artist and showing their new designs. She was smiling from time to time. Ethan caught the investors' eyes looking at his wife Stacy. He was irritated.

"I never knew how beautiful your staffs here are. It's actually perfect! As you know I have a lot of top models in my company and I would like to see some of your new designs for them." Mr. Douglas stated.

"That's not a problem Mr. Douglas. I can ask our models to show you some of our top selling dresses." Ethan answered.

"I don't want any models. I want her." He pointed at Stacy. Ethan was enraged but his Personal Assistant Larry seized his hands. He swerved his head in disapproval.

"She looks like one of my models. I believe her body would give justice to these beautiful ornaments." Ethan never said a word but Larry approached Stacy and explained to her the situation. She wanted to refuse so she looked at Ethan in hope that he would save her but Ethan coldly looked away. She was a bit hurt but if she couldn't do it, Ethan might lose this so called investor. With a heavy heart, she agreed.

Aisha wore all the dresses that Mr. Douglas chose. It's pretty obvious that he was enjoying watching this lovely lady. She looked good in everything. He even dared to choose a revealing dress but Ethan dissuades him. He was dying to take pictures of her but Ethan stopped him.

"Sorry Mr. Douglas, but we don't allow anyone to take pictures of any of our employees nor our designs. Company policy. I hope you understand that." He icily said.

After that, Mr. Douglas persuaded Ethan to bring Stacy along for their coffee time. He didn't have a choice but to bring her.

"It's a pleasure to meet such a beauty like you, Miss Stacy." Mr. Douglas said. "Do you have a boyfriend?" he continued.

"I don't have one." Aisha answered but Ethan looked at her fiercely.

"Oh! I don't know if I will believe you Miss Stacy. But with that beauty, you can seduce anyone." Mr. Douglas eyed her lewdly. He's been staring at her exposed legs since they were inside the store. Aisha could feel it but she couldn't do anything. After a while, Ethan covered her legs with his jacket which stunned Aisha, as well as Mr. Douglas.

"It's cold. You might get sick.'' Ethan reasoned.

"Such a gentleman, huh?" Mr. Douglas scoffed. "By the way Stacy, perhaps you want to be a model? I can make you the country's top model of all time!" He suggested.

"Thank you Mr. Douglas but I am not interested. I told you that I do not have a boyfriend because I am already married. I have an alluring husband and a very smart son. I don't want to divide my time for them. Please excuse me. I'll just use the bathroom." She was irritated. Aisha stood and went to the bathroom but she was not aware that Mr. Douglas also went to the restroom and was waiting for her at the entrance.

"Mr. Douglas!" She was startled to see him. Mr. Douglas looked at her with lust. He slowly walked towards her with a wicked smile.
