Seek and Ye Shall Find

He was insane. Definitely insane. She tried to steady her breathing. His voice called out from the landing outside her bedroom, lazy, slurred, drunk, "come out come out wherever you are!" She covered her ears and tried to keep the cupboard door closed.

He trudged into her room and she could hear him throw things about. He tore through her chest of drawers and ripped the sheets of her bed, "hello?" he called out in a sweet singing voice. He jumped down and peered under her bed. His eyes flicked up to the cupboard, to her. he yanked the door open.

"Hey," he said, aiming a gun towards her, "you loose." he pulled the trigger and her world turned dark.
