File 15: New Members of the Kudo Family

"Ara, Shin-chan!" Yukiko comes to Shinichi, "You got your own body back!"

"Yeah, and it's all thanks to the super-smart Chiharu."

About 5 days have passed, and Chiharu has been discharged from the hospital.

During the 5 days, things happened.

Akakage went with the whole Class 3-E to a reunion party and was forced to spill the beans of him identified to be gay and still haven't confessed to the boy he is in love with in front of the class and Koro-excuse me, Takashi Fushimi the former Shinigami, Shinigami's silver-haired pupil Kurasaki Misoku (I am naming him that), Irina and Karasuma.

Laughter, happiness, joy.

For some, in the past 5 days, are quite painful, but still, slight happiness.

During the 5 days, Kaito and Shinichi had a talk.

A long talk.

Teenage boys sitting on the couch, talking about love troubles.

Yes. Love troubles.

Their girlfriend broke up and left them alone.

Sad, right?

Kaito, here, kinda starts to like this mirror-version of his. He started to develop feelings with each other. Straight forward, things start to bloom.

Like roses, things start to change.

Rather than keep being depressed, Kaito started, after this long talk, with a kiss. A peck on the cheek.

Shinichi blushes.

"Wha-What was that for?" He shutters.

"Aw, you really are cute," Kaito says sweetly.

"What?!" The cute detective flushes right up from the bottom to top, red as a tomato. The feeling of embarrassment is burning across his face.

"I am not sure if this feeling of mine in my heart is true, but... I think I am in love with you, Meitantei-kun."

"Wha..." Kudo Shinichi, the usually calm detective, has a brain short circuit. He then regains this senses of thinking logically and, "Meitantei-kun... Are you Kaitou Kid!!!???"

"Yeah, Meitantei-kun."

Shinichi was quite shocked. The person who he was chasing all this time, the Magician under the Moon, is, in fact, the same age. A genius in magic tricks and a genius in detective work. Both were chased by organisations, both faces challenges, hiding secrets from others. They have a lot in common, not just the looks.

Kaito's blue sapphire eyes lock on to Shinichi's same blue sapphire eyes.

"But... But I'm a guy." Shinichi whispers.

"And so? I don't love you because you are a guy, I love you because you are who you are."

"Kuroba-kun... I-"

"The more I say this, the more I am sure about this warm feeling in my chest. Please accept my feelings, Shinichi."

"Wha-When did you decided to call me by my first name?"

"Just now, Shin~ichi~. You can call me by my first name, too."

"Eh?! W-well, okay... Kaito... I accept your feelings... I need to admit... I like you, too."

So from that day, they have about 2 heated sessions of love-making, about 2 days of dating, and now after the 5 days, they are going to tell their parents that they are in love with each other.

And now for Chiharu.

Kaito thinks it would be a good idea for her to be in the Kudo Family, and so Yukiko contacts the orphanage and adopts Chiharu.

Now her name is Kudo Chiharu, but sometimes she prefers Atsuko Chiharu.

But it's fine.

Now she has a home.

And that is what she had always wanted.

So she will do all she can to protect her family.

During the 5 days, Shiho comes in with Kazami to Chiharu's room to agree on a story for her appearance in Teitan High. They all agree on the similar looks of Haibara Ai is because she is the older sister of Haibara, and her name now is Haibara Shiko. Just in case if any of the children in Teitan Elementary who remembered that Haibara Ai's older sister is dead, they made up this story that Ai is the youngest daughter of the whole Haibara family, and the oldest daughter died. Haibara Shiko is the second daughter who didn't die.

And also during that time period, The Detective Boys came to pay a visit. Chiharu says that Ai has just sent her a message that she will be going to America to study, and that after her release from the hospital, it will be her last day in Japan and she is going to America to "study". It's a lie, obviously, as it? is an excuse to go to America to fight. Yes, win a war again.

Shizuko Katsuki isn't that surprised when her mom collapsed. In fact, the whole Shizuko Family aren't surprised at all. Soon after, Akira or Kushina will be the Head of the Shizuko Family. The whole family is now having a meeting and deciding on to recreate alliances with the Mafia and form the Black team, meaning that they will be allies with Trivia and Frostina. That does mean they will have to go to America temporarily.

So that is a lot of development. A lot of things happening.

After Chiharu was released, Yukiko made a disguise for Chiharu and herself to put an end to the character Edogawa Conan.

Everything is going back to normal, excluding the fact of the war in America.

And guess what?

The war is about demigods.

It's about Mythology, gods, Heroes.

Look, no one wants to be a demigod, but unfortunately, the whole Shizuko Family is blessed by the God of Death himself, Chiharu is a daughter of Apollo, and what more could there be in store?

Tragic endings? Or Happy endings?

Who knows?
