20. Dangerous Fox

Layla looked at Evan, " what do you mean not enemy? You know them?" She asked.

" Yes. That's Uncle private chopper, Eagle Sky." Evan stood up and shouted excitedly towards the sky.

" Uncle!!!!!"

" Ughh..." Layla face-palmed herself.

An hour before the incident...

Adrian sat inside his car and read some documents that need his attention the most. The bruises on his godly handsome face faded almost quickly.

" President, Company Ailuo's CEO, seeking for an appointment at his private horse club. I set it on 14 March, how about it?" Adrian's assistant, Bai Yi looked at the silent man at his side.

" Alright," He nodded.

" CEO Leng asked you to bring a companion at his second daughter's birthday party on 16 March, are you okay with it?" Bai Yi spoke again. Adrian ponders for some moment and nodded.

" Alright, I'll go with Layla."

" At 18 March, CEO Hai asked for-!" Bai Yi stopped talking when both men hear Adrian's message phone ringtone. Looking at the ID of the sender, Adrian frowned. He taps to read it.

Soon, the temperature inside the car plummet. A dangerous aura burst from Adrian's body. He quickly makes a fast call. Bai Yi recognizes the number and knows Young Master Evan in danger.

" Prepared Eagle Sky in 5 minutes. And went to this location." He hung up and sent some coordination to them.

" We go to Chang Private Airport, now!" His tones were so cold, sending a shiver to the two, Bai Yi and the driver.

" Yes!" The driver quickly changes their direction sharply and went to another lone road.

A wave of worry and fear visible in his eyes, showing how anxious he was. Please be safe...

Layla's and Evan's face emerged from his mind. Thinking the worst possible will happens to the two, he felt nauseated and uneasy.

Please be safe...Adrian keep chanting these words over and over inside his heart and mind. Forgetting his wife is a capable woman in action.

They arrived 10 minutes later at Chang Private Airport. Adrian quickly went inside the ready helicopter and put his headphone on. After giving orders, they take off almost immediately.

From afar, they saw black smokes on the air. Adrian's eyes narrowed dangerously, taking the binocular and put it on his eyes to take a look.

On the road, he saw four different cars chasing each other. With Layla's car in the front, and three more cars at behind. One of the black cars blows up into a big fire. Another two cars didn't stop, but keep chasing the front car.

" Bastard..." Adrian cursed. He pulled out his private caliber sniper rifle out from the bag that also ready for him to use. Dare to attack my woman and my nephew? Court death!

Before he could fire the bullet, his hand stopped mid-way. There, he saw the most beautiful, alluring sight of Layla. Seating on the back seat, holding a black sniper rifle on her hands, she looks like enjoying the thrills.

She looked so charming with that thrilled expression on her beautiful face. One leg on the leather seat, another was pivoting under the rifle.

Sexy, too sexy! Adrian whistles in amazement.

Hah, this is his woman! Look how sexy, yet seductive she was?! Adrian cheered internally, silently proud at his baby girl performance.

Bang!

Another deafening blast heard in the air. Touchdown!!

Adrian smiled smugly and chuckled at her provocative sight. Looking at how she enjoying herself, Adrian can't hold back his little brother from stirring inside his pant. Damn! He got a boner.

" Shit!" He cursed yet again when he saw another man emerged from the car window. He ready to pull the trigger, and bang!

Bang!

Yes, two shot at the same time. Layla hearing was not wrong. Another shot was before her. She frowned, then quickly heard helicopter blade fans. Her eyes narrowed dangerously, and ready to aim at the sky where the helicopter comes from.

Adrian sweated. Aiya, baby girl. Don't shot! He wanted to cry and laugh at the same time after looking at how sharp her eyes turned.

He sighed in relief as Evan quickly stopped her from shooting them. He ordered the helicopter pilot to goes down.

" Uncle!!!!!" Evan shouted excitedly. Layla put down her rifle and sighed. She jumps out of the car, waiting for them to land. Evan also followed out to receive his Uncle.

She saw the man jumps before the helicopter touched the ground and rush towards them. Before she could open her mouth, she was engulfed into a warm, tight embrace.

" Uh, Adrian?" She wanted to push the man away, but she felt his body trembling slightly. So, she pats the man's back to assure him.

" Hey, we're okay. Nothing much," She spoke after she felt the man calmed down. Adrian pushes her at his arms range and quickly checking her around.

" Are you alright? No injury? No wound?" He asked worriedly. Before she could speak, Evan cleared his throat.

" Ahem! Uncle, you should also ask about my health. You're not fair at all," Evan contemptuously roll his eyes. Layla chuckled. Adrian snorted.

" I saw you jump up and down earlier, so I know you're well." Adrian heartlessly fired him. Evan scoffed.

' Fine, after getting a wife, you abandon your handsome nephew. So heartless!' Evan mourned internally at his Uncle biased treatments.
