Kiri

It's been about a month since I was almost beaten to death by Mito, and it was fairly uneventful

It was a routine of eat, morning exercises, talk to everyone for a bit, eat, scout around outside, and sleep. A few dates with the girls were scattered in between there, and I told Duy some advice on the Hachimon, so now he can open up to the fourth gate but still has some injuries (My skill lets me open the gates without injuries, and only at the cost of stamina, fyi), otherwise nothing major happened

Today was the day we headed out for Kiri and I had to admit, I was looking pretty good

I was wearing a Black Leather Trenchcoat, that reached down to my ankles in an open fashon. I had on a pair of Black/Blue Combat boots, that transitioned into a dark pair of ANBU trousers, A roll of bandages around my right thigh, and my Kunai and Shuriken holsters on the other thigh. I had on a belt that carried various pouches of stuff - Senbon Needles, Various poisons I bought from the system, Money, and other things. On my hands were gauntlets that Shinji made for me about a week prior - They were perfect for the strong fist style, and weren't too bulky either. My shoulders had a single Metal pauldron on my right, and a leather one on the left. The metal was painted a blood red, like Hashirama's armor. I also had a large scarecrows hat, that hid most of my Red hair.

By the front entrance, I was waiting for the other four of our team to show up

Luckily I didn't have to wait long, because a few minutes after I got there, Tobirama and the others came around

Tobirama was dressed in his normal Sea Blue Combat armor with his Rinnegan eyes on full display. I tried to tell him it was a bad idea, but he said he was powerful enough and he could handle himself, to which I facepalmed at

Minato walked in next wearing his signature blazing Haori, but instead of the Kanji of the fourth hokage on the back, it was the kanji of 'Flash' on there. I gave him the idea from the nickname of the yellow flash he's earn in the third war, which speaking of wars - the second is just about to start in a few months, so taking these swords might destroy Kiri, but who cares - He also had a mesh shirt underneath a black vest, similar to konoha's chunin vests, as well as the typical ANBU pants, with Ninja sandals on. He also got three pronged kunai made (Even though he hasn't got Hiraishin yet [He's only a Lv3 Seal Master]) from Shinji. I also told him to get those, so he'd have practice for when he gets Hiraishin (I didn't say that to him word for word, I just told him three pronged kunai would make him look cooler, and he agreed straight away) and on his head was a blue bandana, but no forehead protector

Kushina looked basically the same as her Jonin counterpart, but with no Konoha forehead protector and scaled down to her 12 year old self.

Nanami looked scarily similar to Fu to be honest. Like exactly the same. She had on the same midriff shirt, colored in a black color, with the mesh armor cut to the same length underneath. Her legs had the same mesh shorts, and pants only colored black. In her mint hair was the same amber hairclip that matched her eye color. All that was missing was Choumei, a Taki forehead protector, and the red strap thing. She did however, have a bag on her back that contained a large amount of sealing scrolls for god knows what

"You all ready to go?" I asked

They all confirmed that they had everything and we set off in the direction of Kiri

We had just arrived at the border around Nami and Kiri about a few minutes ago

The trip was supposed to take around a week to get here across the land of fire, but we ended up getting here about three days later than we were supposed to

Why? Bandits

The land of fire has a serious Bandit problem, like every half mile we ran into at least three separate bandits just camping out in the middle of the woods. We had to take out every single one of them and that added on a whole lot of time

Now, you might be thinking 'Jack, Why take out every single one of them? Why not just leave them be?'

And I thought the same until Tobirama explained to me

"These bandits don't attack ninja villages because they know they won't get anything out of it, instead they attack civilian villages, murdering and pillaging small towns for their enjoyment. Ninja's really only take them out because if we lose those minor civilian villages, what's to stop places like the capital from stopping any sort of trade to the city?"

So we stopped to kill any sort of bandit along the way, that looked at least a little threatening

We racked up at least a few hundred bodies, and a few bounties too. 6 C-Ranks, 2 B-Ranks, and an A-Rank bounty that I accidentally came across. His name was Jirou of the Black Mist, and as you guessed it - he makes black mist. It was basically a slightly improved version of the hiding in the mist technique, and he even tried using Zabuza's strategy on me, using a large broadsword to sneak up from behind me and shit talking me

Too bad Tobirama was there, because he basically sucked all of the water in the air into a big ball and held it above his head like some sort of DBZ character. While Jirou was in shock, looking at the giant water ball, I lopped off his head with my Ichimonji

After that I highfived Tobirama for that awesome display of water manipulation

"We need a boat" Tobirama said and everyone looked at me

I sighed and used my Wood Release to make us not a tiny sailboat, just enough for everyone to fit inside

"So why is Kiri nicknamed 'Bloody Mist'?" Minato questioned about halfway to our destination

I cleared my Throat "Well, It's because Kiri has always been a hugely violent populace. Their tradition for academy students to graduate, is to set them all up against each other in a Battle Royale type setting, and you must kill at least one person to pass"

Kushina looked horrified at that "Why would they do that? It literally cuts the entire class in half! Do know that they are basically culling their military force like that?"

I just shrugged "It's better to have someone, who has killed once before and can do it again, than someone who freezes up when they must kill, and get killed themselves in the process" Tobirama and Nanami nodded at that. After that Minato and Kushina fell silent the rest of the trip to the island country

"HALT!" A Ninja stated at the towers beside the docks "STATE YOUR BUSINESS!"

Tobirama stood up, dressed in a large cloak to hide his battle armor, which was mirrored by the rest of the group

"We are here to sell our wares!" He pointed to the bags we filled with rocks from the river floor "Various unsmelted metals from the land of Iron!" The guard rose an eyebrow before heading down his tower for a few moments, and coming up - the gate opening beside him

"YOU MAY GO IN, BUT BE WARNED, ANY HOSTILE ACTION MAY BE MET WITH EQUAL FORCE!" He shouted at us, waving our boat in

Tobirama nodded at the guard, guiding our boat in the docking area

We all got out, and I turned to the rest of them "All right, here's the plan people" They gave me their attention "Minato, Nanami. You two are going to go find us a hotel to stay at. I don't care what kind of quality it's in, just as long as we can sleep comfortably" They nodded, and walked off

I turned to Tobirama "You are going to scout around their Mizukage tower, and other Military Facilities. Make sure you are not detected" I told him, and he nodded, shunshining away

I sighed and turned to Kushina "You are going to come with me, and we are going to see what kind of things Kiri has for sale" She smiled widely and basically dragged me away into the market district

The whole way I was crying anime tears 'Goodbye, my wallet...'
