My spear pierced through her heart, and a moment later, she disappeared into my core.

It took four seconds for the poison to work. 

The poison had worked quickly, all thanks to her own energy that mixed into it. It had made it very potent for her. Even if I had not killed her, there was a 60% chance. It would have done that job in a few minutes.

Seeing the result of poison. I felt like I should have started using them a long ago.

It is not like I didn't; I had tried a few times before giving up.

I didn't have the expertise and skills to make the type of poison I need. Even this poison is not perfect, and I am collecting data while using it to make it even better.
