Chapter 12- Can't Give Up

After being thrown into the ocean, Shi Xue's consciousness began to fade as it became more difficult to breathe. When she thought of the regrets and that disgusting couple's bed session, she gritted her teeth. She could see the happiness on their faces when they learn about her death.

'No! I can't die!' She pinched herself until deep bruises showed on her waist. She relaxed her body and let it float.

"I'm still alive....I can't give up..." Forcing her tired and heavy eyelids upwards, she spotted a huge cruise close by. She tried calling for help, but her voice was too low for anyone to notice her. She felt hope as she saw light coming from the deck. This indicated someone is still awake. If she could get help, she may survive!

Fighting her dizziness, she saw a huge net being pulled up. She quickly moved towards the net and hopped into it as people dragged the net to the cruise. Due to her confused state from the head injury, she thought it was a big fish being caught in the net, but it was really... one of the spies being thrown down to feed the fishes.

On the deck, Shen Qi thought to himself. 'Why did the net suddenly get so heavy? Did we catch a huge fish? Or were there 90 pounds of seaweed?'

The moment the net was brought to the deck, everybody's eyes constricted as they saw an additional body lying next to the spy. The spy had been long dead with his bones sticking out of his body. A fish was still biting onto his meat, flapping it tail to gasp for air. The group of men silently stared at the girl next to the corpse, not knowing how they show react. 'How did one corpse become two?'

Shen Qi quickly reported to Huang Zhi Hei who was standing by the almost lifeless spy on the deck. It looked as if the spy aged 40 years in the past few hours after being tortured mentally and physically. He was holding onto his last breath while suffering from fear as he met Zhi Hei's murderous eyes.

"Boss! We have an additional corpse!! I.. I mean....We fished in an extra person!!" Shen Qi didn't know how to describe it to their holy boss whose eyes currently looked as if it could slice someone up.

"Check the person's face. If he or she looks suspicious, then toss him or her back to the ocean." Zhi Hei quietly walked back to his chair and slowly sipped his freshly brewed tea.

"Y..yes..."

'Damn! Our boss is always so cold. Oh wells, this body had nothing to do with us anyways...' One of the guards thought silently as he heard Zhi Hei's response from a distance.

Shen Qi was curious about Shi Xue's appearance behind the disheveled hair that covered up her face. The guards were having intense thoughts of how ugly or wrecked her face may be. Their imagination ran wild to the point that they became afraid to uncover her face.

As soon as they received orders to uncover the corpse's face, they carefully brushed her drenched hair backwards, revealing a pale face. Although she was ghastly, pale, the guards still ended up blushing at how beautiful she looked.

They noticed that Shi Xue had no identification documents on her and was severely injured. Gasping her breath, Shi Xue chanted in a very low yet clear voice "Pl...Please... help..." Her voice sounded as if she would shatter any moment now.

Somehow, her voice rung into the Zhi Hei's ear. The man who didn't blink twice when torturing the two spies ended up spilling his tea! His tea cup smashed to the floor, causing everyone else on deck to freeze at their spot.

Shen Qi stuttered and said "B...I. Boss we… We were about to throw her back to the ocean... Don't get mad..."

As soon as the sentence left the man's mouth, Huang Zhi Hei's eyes pierced at the guards, shutting them up instantly.

The next second, everybody's eyes were focused on the half-conscious girl who was asking for help. Then their eyes landed on the cold, woman-rejector, who kills any women who dares to touch him. They watched with widened eyes as the devilish lord who kills without blinking twice approaching an unknown woman. Not only that... it was a woman they fished up!!!!????? Is the world ending!!!?????
