Slamming The Tables, Furious!

The next morning, Mei Ling woke up completely forgetting the previous day's events. However, her forgetfulness only lasted a short while once she felt a cold stare. There was Tu Ming giving her dagger eyes while standing outside the gate of the girl's dorm's building. Walking to another gate, she signed out with her identity card and proceeded to her first class for the day, which was again Professor Tian's class. Jogging up to Mei Ling unhurriedly, Tu Ming walked beside her at the same pace.

"Hey! Why did you avoid me and go through another exit!" Hearing him speak, it seemed as though he was a little puppy feeling abandoned by its owner.

"Didn't want to see you."

The son of the CEO of Vida pretended to get angry. If these were normal circumstances, then he really would have been angry. How could he let anyone brush him off and talk to him this way? But for some reason, he seemed to be a good mood even after getting embarrassed yesterday and didn't seem to mind the beauty's tone.

"How rude! Do you know who I am?"

"Yes, do you know who I am?"

"Err...the mysterious beauty!"

Abruptly stopping, Mei Ling stood still and looked at him straight in the eye: "I mean my background. You are the son of a CEO, more precisely the CEO of Vida. However, do you know about me?" Stunned, he also stood still and seemed to be thinking thoughtfully about what she just said.

Is she implying that she has a higher standing than me? A more powerful background? This little kitten is trying to frighten me, how cute! If she was really was more powerful than I am, she wouldn't be eating those foods at the cafeteria everyday!

At that particular moment, Tu Ming seemed to have forgotten that the clothes Mei Ling wore were although simple but expensive.

Not seeing the seriousness in his eyes, she knew that the boy in front of her didn't think about her background wisely. Giving a helpless sigh, she started walking towards the First Building again. Walking behind her, they both signed into the building and got to the entrance of Professor Tian's lecture. This little tyrant wouldn't actually follow her in would he? In many colleges, students that didn't belong in a professor's class would still be able to listen in but wouldn't be allowed to disrupt the class. It also applied to Jin Long Academy. However, this was for the students who seriously wanted to learn more, and not for troublemakers like the tyrant behind her!

Spinning around, she glared and warned him, "Don't follow me in!"

Pretending to not hear her, he walked in with her and like an innocent child, playfully yelled "Yo!"

The students all looked in the direction they heard the voice and briefly widened their eyes, slack jawed. They were all looking forward to admiring their campus beauty today, but she had startlingly brought in one of the academy's tyrants! Not daring to even look at the boy's eyes, they hurriedly and went back to studying. Once in a while, they would glance at the pair that sat down in the first row. It seemed as though the seat Mei Ling had sat in for the first class was always empty, specially reserved for her. The girl that originally sat next to Mei Ling's chair was forcibly scrammed out of her seat, Tu Ming now sitting next to their goddess.

Once a handsome man, with light brown hair came in, the tiniest whispers are whisked away.

"Good morning, class." Although the formality was towards the entire room of students, it seemed as though it was more for the angel in the front row. For the man's history of teaching, not once had he been so polite to even say any extra words. After witnessing Mei Ling's charming and miraculous brain work every class, it seemed that he was much more polite. In some occasions, Mei Ling and Professor Tian would discuss some topics where Mei Ling would be the one informing, and the professor being the one listening. Every word from Mei Ling in class would make her seem scholarly and more knowledgeable than any person he had ever known.

"Mei Ling, no wonder you ignored me the first time you met me! You were hurrying to this pretty boy! So this is the type you like?"

Hearing Tu Ming's words, Professor Tian's face darkened. Previously, he had not even seen Tu Ming. Now that he had and heard him speaking such shameful words, he was enraged. He was not even in his class, and yet he had the audacity to ruin the reputation of his favorite student, and call him a pretty boy right to his face!

"You are not in my class, yet you cause such disturbances. I'll pardon you this time, considering that you're not in the right mind today. Go and reflect on yourself."

"Oh? Reflect on myself? What did I do wrong?"

Professor Tian took a deep breath to calm himself and said with a steady voice, "You maligned both a professor and a fellow student. You have also disrupted a class with many other students and wasted our time. Get out, and reflect!"

"But what I was saying is the truth. Why should I reflect?"

Gasp! All of Professor Tian's students knew. The professor was calm and steady most of the time, but once enraged, he would be so angered that the rest of the class would be spent shaking in fear for not being able to handle all the work given and due next class. Although he didn't seem to notice his own problem of taking out his anger on them once he was angered, they knew that he didn't mean for it and normally gave them little work to do.

In actuality, Tu Ming's words were known to be nonsense and everyone knew what he said were just jokes. No one would take them seriously and the professor and Mei Ling would not be in danger of being slandered. However, Professor Tian couldn't handle an unknown student calling him a pretty boy. This was the name he hated the most! He knew he had outstanding looks, but they were the type to be in a K-Pop band and not a manly charm.

Realizing her own professor was getting angered at such foolish words, she indifferently pronounced the few words:

"Tu Ming, get out."

Stiffening, Tu Ming stayed for a large few seconds before taking heavy steps out. Bewildered, both the students and Tu Ming himself did not understand why Mei Ling's orders were followed!

Right after stepping out the door of the lecture room, Tu Ming registered that he had taken the orders of a girl one head shorter than him, and his face turned red. Punching the wall, he let out an angry grunt and muttered loudly, "Dammit! When did Tu Ming become some wuss?" He was supposed to be the one claiming the girl and ordering her around, how did all of his thoughts turn around? This wasn't how it was supposed to be!

Stomping back into the classroom, he angrily let out giant huffs and soaked into the shocked stares of everyone in the classroom.

Not caring about anyone else's gazes, he looked towards the girl responsible for his frustration, and heard the words again, but this time more violently.

"Get out at this instant!" With shaking eyes, he clenched his hands into fists and walked towards her to the front of her table.

Slamming the table with her books, he shouted, "Who are you to tell me what to do?"

This time truly furious, Mei Ling slammed the table with her bare hands, creating an even larger sound, and gritted out the words while staring straight into his eyes, with their faces almost touching.

"Tu Ming. GET OUT!"

Not just Tu Ming who had seen the furious flash in her eyes, even the professor and everyone else in the classroom were shaken and felt more fear from the delicate looking girl than they ever had felt from the muscled tyrant. Stumbling back two steps, he let out a growl and walked out with a face as red as a tomato.

The first time seeing this side of the campus beauty, everyone was quite shaken and needed a moment to break out of it.

The fragile looking girl whom seemed like an angel and devil at the same time sat down like nothing ever happened, and resumed class as normal. Once again, this was posted on school forums and it created more of an uproar than the previous videos.

+1: Don't worry everyone. The chapters won't just be about Mei Ling being posted on the school forums and getting popular within the student circle. The last lines are only to show that the event will be known by the students. I just wanted to get this straight in case you guys thought it would just be a novel with every chapter resulting in the same old thing.

+2: Vote novel with power stones! Thank you!
