Think before you speak

On the way back to the school, Feng Xiaoxi kept quiet and did not speak a word while Ren Rouan tried to engage her in a conversation and speaks a lot. Telling her funny stories and their embarrassing moments but a small smile did not even crack on her face. She keeps silent as she stares at the trees, they are passing by. Ren Rouan becomes tired of speaking and he turned on the radio, and just drive quietly. Only the faint sound of the engine and the old song from the radio can be heard.

Ren Rouan doesn't know what to do. He knows that Feng Xiaoxi's emotion are all bottled up and he doesn't know how to make her open up to him. They've been friends ever since, yet she kept a lot of secrets from him and from others. But he is glad that she didn't hesitate to ask for his help and he is the first person she told about her situation.

Their group has been very busy these past few days, and Ren Rouan knows that they already noticed his disappearances and found him suspicious. He just hopes that they won't confront him and try to stalk on him.

After an hour they finally reached the school and went inside the gate. Ren Rouan parked the car at the same place and gets the wheelchair from the trunk. He opened the door and positioned the wheelchair at the opening. He stretches his arms to help Feng Xiaoxi but she declined.

"I can manage." She said and just hold onto the seat of the car.

Ren Rouan gets it that she wants to try to stand independently. She needed every moment she can get to try standing so he just let her be.

Inside the dorm, Meng is in a heated discussion with Mo Weimei.

"Where did she go? You are the one who is with her." Meng questioned Mo Weimei a tinge of worry are laced in her tone and also blame.

"I told you, I don't know. She left when I went to the toilet. Aren't you supposed to be with her not me?" Mo Weimei answered. She's quite annoyed that Meng keeps asking her and she won't even believe her and like she's trying to put the blame on her.

"I can't believe I actually thought you're a cute and shy girl when I first met you. Now you're showing your true color! Why? You look down on me because I'm her maid?!" Meng is irritated what Mo Weimei said. It's like she's emphasizing that she's a maid. Indeed she is, but that's her weak point. She doesn't want to be below them. She doesn't want to be poor. That's why she wanted to study and graduate so she can have a job that may give her a big salary. It's not her fault that she's born with a maid for a mother and a gardener for a father right?

"What are you talking about? I'm only stating the fact that you should look after your mistress. That's your job. You didn't even look for her at lunchtime." Mo Weimei was shocked by her sudden outburst. She knows that arguing with her is not a good choice but Meng needs to wake up. She had been very occupied these past few days with other things that she doesn't even know what or who is her priority.

Both of the girls heard the door opened and a cold voice spoke.

"What's happening here?" Feng Xiaoxi looked at both of them. The girls tried to decipher her expression but Feng Xiaoxi remains cold and neutral. " I just left a few hours ago and you're about to start world war 3." She examined both of them and turned to Meng. "Think before you speak. Check your notes and email."

Feng Xiaoxi noticed that Meng is getting out of hand. What she said to Mo Weimei is too impolite and she knows what Mo Weimei was trying to say.

She passed them and head to the bedroom.

Meng checked her email and found out that Feng Xiaoxi messaged her and also the notes on her phone that were pinned on the screen said that 'I'll be out for a few hours. Don't look for me.'

Feng Xiaoxi pulled out her phone and clicked the Feng Xiaoxi's diary, the former owner of the body's diary.
