Rushing out

Anna's dance got interrupted when she noticed Diego standing near the exit door. She saw him once a few minutes ago and thought that they were taking a break. However, that wasn't the case. Diego seems to be standing alone for a long time.

"Anthony, can I excuse myself for a minute?" Anna requested.

Anthony agreed, and they both retired from dancing. Anthony waited while Anna addressed Diego.

"Why are you alone, Diego?" she asks.

Diego got alarmed from the familiar voice. He lifted his face to see Anna nearing him.

'What the hell?' – Anna noticed Diego's clouded face.

'Is he about to mourn?' – she worried.

"Diego?" Anna called until the boy flipped his switch to answer her.

"Ah, Anna, are you guys taking a break finally?" he responded, urgently hiding his feelings.

"Where is that idiot?" Anna asked, knowing that Lillian Grey must be out somewhere, and that is the reason why Diego is waiting alone.

"She is gone."

Diego's response shocked Anna.

"Gone! What do you mean by gone?" Anna questioned.

"It means she left the place by herself."

"What happened?"

"I don't know. I don't know, Anna. She looked spaced out, and I tried asking her several times, but in the end, Lilly said she wanted to go to the bathroom. Guess what? A few minutes later, this is the message I got from her."

Diego answered and took out his mobile to show the text Lillian Grey sent him earlier.

Anna read the whole text. She even seized the mobile harshly to read it multiple times.

"What the hell is this? What does she mean she needs to go?"

Anna gave Diego's phone back to him and took out her mobile. She dialed Lillian's number. It rang, but there was no response. It appeared that Lillian didn't want to answer the call.

'What is she doing?'

'I told her not to mess it up, at least for Diego.'

Anna got mad from seeing her friend in such a state.

Everyone was happy with their partner, whether they are in love with each other or not because that day was meant to be a cherishing memory for them. Anna specifically advised Lillian not to ruin the night for Diego, and when she finds her friend abandoned, it bothered Anna.

She kept calling Lillian Grey, but there was no response. Lillian refused to respond to the call.

It only frustrated Anna.

"Stop it, Anna. I don't think she will answer. I already tried many times."

"Psst…"

Anna went and stood next to Diego. She consoled and gave him company.

Anthony, who waited for several minutes, got worried and came to check. It is then Anna explains that due to some reasons, Lillian already left the place.

Anthony, too, felt bad for Diego.

..

"Let us all leave together," he suggested.

"What?" Anna asked.

"Look at the time; it is almost getting late. We will catch up on some food and then roam the streets, maybe watch a movie. Diego, you are invited by default," Anthony recommends.

"No, Anthony. You guys go and enjoy it. I'll head home," Diego politely tried to refuse.

However, Anna ordered him to join along with Anthony. After a while of brain-washing, the two dragged Diego out of the campus. Anthony let the driver start the car as they chose to visit a popular pizza spot.

Giselle kept moving around in her bed.

Restless and disturbed.

She kept fidgeting under the blanket, not being able to remain in peace.

It has been like that for a few minutes already. The disturbed mind never let the girl escape and held on to her desperately.

Giselle struggled.

Swiftly getting out of her bed, she hesitated for a minute, stiffened like a statue. When it finally hit her, she went to change her clothes and grabs a coat while leaving the room.

Hastening her steps rapidly, she descended the stairs and quickly dashed across the living room to open the door and leave.

"Giselle? Where are you going at this time?" Eric asked, noticing his daughter in a state of hustle.

Giselle stopped her steps at once when she heard her father's voice. Turning around, she saw her mother join the living room as well, and the two waited for Giselle to respond.

"I-" Giselle hesitates.

"Dad, Mom, I have to go now. I will be back soon. I promise," she begs.

..

The entire day Giselle looked listless, and it worried her parents. However, right now, the same girl is in a panic as she begs her parents to let her go out.

"Can you tell me where are you going?" Eric asked politely, not wanting to scare the girl but get a proper response from her.

Giselle paused.

"Nearby-" she replied.

Eric and Melanie saw Giselle flounder.

"Will you be alright alone?" Melanie asked.

"Is it something important?" Eric demanded.

"Yes, yes it is," Giselle replied.

Melanie saw the girl tremble with every passing second. Sensing that it might be an emergency, Melanie persuaded her husband and allowed for Giselle to go.

Once gained her mother's approval, Giselle did not delay and immediately left the place, confirming that she would return soon.

"Let her be, Eric. It must be something important to her, we'll wait," Melanie reassures as she returns to the kitchen.

Eric returned to watch the television as well. Even after Melanie's words, he remained to be concerned about his daughter.

Gigi came out of the shower while drying her hair with a towel. She noticed a moving figure down the entrance. When moved closer, she saw Giselle racing out of the house hurriedly.

"What the hell? Where is she going this late?"

Gigi stared.

She came out and saw Giselle's room located adjacent. The door was left open, and when Gigi passed by the entrance, she saw Giselle's clothes on her bed in a puddle of a mess.

Running downstairs, Gigi asked her parents about Giselle, and they answered. She eased a little from learning that at least the parents know about Giselle going out. She returned to her room.

On her way, she stopped in front of Giselle's room. It was wide open. Gigi didn't want to pry on Giselle's personal stuff, but she also worried why her sister went out rushing like that.

Was it an emergency?

Gigi kept thinking about it.

If it was an emergency, Giselle could have asked for Gigi's help. Since Gigi has her own car, she could take Giselle around. Nonetheless, Gigi was left alone to worry. As she did, Gigi saw a flash of light shine on the bed.

Giselle's mobile was ringing.

"She left her mobile!" Gigi shouted as she noticed it.

It is late at night, and Giselle left her phone behind.

What if she gets lost or something happens?

What if she wants to contact her family?

Gigi panicked.

She took the mobile and saw who it was calling her.

The name said Lilly on the screen.

Lilly!

Lilly!

The name rings a bell to her as she tries to recall where and when!

Remembering the time when Giselle invited a girl to study together, Gigi recalled the time when she met Lillian Grey.

'That cocky girl!' – Gigi thought.

'Why is she calling her?'

Soon, the call got cut as Gigi noticed the sound go off.

Gigi took a glance and saw the number of missed calls displayed on the screen. The count exceeds over a dozen.

'Did she go out to meet her?'

Taking the mobile with her, Gigi went back to her room. She didn't check Giselle's phone but only kept it with her in case if Giselle realizes and contacts her mobile, Gigi wants to be on alert until her sister returns.
