Set Him Free

When Jim went home that night, he decided to tell everything to Jia. The truth may be too much for her to handle but it would set him free. He knew that she would understand the great troubles along the way.

"I am right from the beginning. I could tell those sharp glints in her eyes." Jia sadly said. She felt a sense of pain stucking on her throat but she held it back.

"She had many tricks back then in our IM training but I ignored her. Why can't she give up and look for someone else? " Jim said in a frustrating tone.

"Isn't she beautiful? Isn't she good enough? "Jia asked, masking her pain inside.

"I would be lying if I say she's not. But it's difficult to teach a heart." He shrugged and then he looked into her eyes.

"It's just you, Jia. Always remember that."

The tears she was holding back were now falling fast. She brushed it away and smiled.

"Likewise, Jim." She reached out to hug him and her eyes fell into the two plane tickets he placed over the center table.
