Your Coming With Me

The need to feed was strong but the food that sat in Ariana's stomach was not what she craved. She flew high into the night sky scanning her surroundings. Nothing looked appetizing as she looked down below her. People were out on the streets hugging each other, cheering, singing and congratulating each other for entering the New Year. "Pathetic." She mumbled before deciding to move on. She flew aimlessly around the City when she heard a soft chiming sound that caused her body to tremble with delight. She started to descend and sat on top of a roof of a building. She looked around curiously then shook her head, convincing herself it was her mistake.

She heard the chiming sound again. He heart raced, she needed to catch the sound. She hopped from roof to roof excitedly as the chiming got louder. When she looked down she noticed she was in an area that looked like it belonged to the upper class society of the City. Ariana tilted her head as she watched people coming and going from a giant estate. The sound was coming from behind the building. She jumped up and flew towards the back yard.

She silently landed on her dragon like feet, she retracted her wings and took a few cautious steps forward. She looked around slowly, scanning the area with her heightened sense of sight. She felt a presence but something was blocking her from pinpointing it. All she could see was the landscape before her as if it was daytime.

"I knew you would come." Ariana spun around and bared her fangs as she hissed. "Hungry?" A tall, statuesque man said as he stepped from within the shadows into the light of the moon. "Human." Ariana snarled as she took a step back. The man's eyes glowed a golden red colour as his lips turned upwards into an evil smirk. "I am and I know more about your kind that you could every dream of." He said as he slightly lifted his head and gave a small, dark laugh. "Like this." The man said as he brought both of his hands from behind his back and collided two small objects together in front of him.

A beautiful chiming sound came forth and Ariana tried her hardest to not pounce on the man and make the objects hers. "Oh, aren't you strong willed one?! Most would have gutted me to get their hands on these lovely little things." He said with another laugh. "Don't you want to get you claws on this?" He said as he moved the shimmering stones with his fingers, making them shine brilliantly under the light of the moon. "I know you do... I can guarantee you that they are made with the best material we could gather." Ariana shook her head and stretched out her wings readying herself to flee. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. See we have ways of making you stay and honestly I don't really want to use those ways tonight. Too many witnesses to deal with... that is if you still have a human heart to even care, plus blood is always hard to wash out." He said as he looked past her.

Ariana followed his gaze and quickly retracted her wings. Some small children were running around playing tag while a maid and butler watched them protectively. "Demands?!" Ariana growled, making sure she curled her lips upwards as she revealed her fangs. "Smart child. You see I want you to come with me and my companions so we can talk about that body of yours... and make sure your hunger is satisfied." Ariana looked around and caught sight of the shadows around her started to bubble upwards. Suddenly she was surrounded by the cloaked men and woman who had hunted her down previously.

"Attack!" She roared a blood curdling cry, causing the children near by to start screaming. The maid and butler collected them and rushed back inside while screaming for help. Ariana laughed as she opened her claws up and her nails extended forwards. "Very well. Your kind likes to be taken by force so why was I even foolish enough to extend an invitation to you? Ha! No helping the matter, we will get our way regardless of the situation." He said with a sinister look in his eyes as the cloaked figures rushed forward.

Ariana raised her tail while spikes sprang upwards. She smirked at her new trick and swung her tail around her, instantly slicing the first wave of attackers in half. She started to smile broadly as she stared down her now hesitant opponents. She push herself forward into the air and came down on a cluster of men and women. She clawed the surrounding air with high speed and accuracy. Blood started to spray everywhere, bathing the area in a sea of red.

The smell was enticing and she could feel her mouth salivating. "Can you feel it? Can you feel your instincts wanting to take over? Let your urges and desires guide you to your fate, feast on the remains of these sacrifices and become the monster you are destined to be!" The man laughed hysterically. "Nooooo!" Ariana screamed as she clutched her head, stepping back creating distance between her and the cloaked figures.

Footsteps could be heard running towards them. Ariana snapped back to reality and extended her wings outwards. "Before you leave take these as a memento of our first meeting." The man said as he tossed the two round stones towards her. She quickly snatched it and took off just as the guards reached the area. "Lord Romanoff are you injured?" She heard as she fled from the man. She didn't bother looking back, she didn't need or want to see the massacre she created but the joy she had from ripping flesh and taking her prize was liberating and concerning.

Ariana could feel her stomach protesting it's hunger but she wanted to go somewhere safe to look at her prize. She figured outside of the City was the best bet and headed towards the main road. As she approached the outskirts she could sense something was wrong. She stopped flying forward and landed on a near by roof. She was on her hands and hind legs, wings pointed upwards as she hissed as she prowled on all fours as she kept her eyes glued to the area just up ahead.

Suddenly a pink light shot upwards, causing the garnet armor to flare out like hairs on a cat. She focused her gaze and her heart ached. "Vasu..." She mumbled as her armor retracted and she slowly stood up. The pink Luma started to fly around in a pattern as if he is was calling out to her. "Vasu!" She roared in delight as her wings expanded outwards. "Vasu!" She called out again as she quickly approached the Luma with her arms extended forward.

Vasu stopped moving and waited obediently for Ariana to scoop him up into her embrace. "Vasu!" She said as she she caught her chibi deer and slowly brought him towards her chest. The moment she did Vasu activated his magic and unlocked a portion of her memory, paralyzing her as her eyes glowed. "That's the signal!" Deagen called out. He, Nafeza and Caralee extended their hands forward while holding a silver stone in their left hands and a diamond in their rights. They each stood at a corner of a triangle filled with ruins, lower case theta and phi symbols drawn on top of the earth with fine moon beam dust. "Mālamalama defentsa kaiola." They chanted together, suddenly the triangle light up and quickly moved up towards Ariana and Vasu.

Ariana could barely focus on what Vasu was showing her. It looked so important, yet her heart trembled at the same scene she always dreamt about. "Eve... please don't leave me... I love you so much..." Ariana started screaming in pain as she released Vasu from her embrace. The vision before her was gone and she just caught sight on what was happening below. She tried to fly away but the three magic users had already said the final word of the spell. "Biderkatu!" The triangle turned into a icosahedron and encased her.

Ariana was not going to be taken down without a fight and started attacking her cage. The magic users down below were trying their best to hold, they gripped the stones harder with every attack Ariana inflicted causing their palm to rip apart. Blood spilled downwards and the people around them started to panic. "Just a little longer, if the Lumas didn't lie to the shadow familiars then she should run out of energy soon." Brian shouted as he kept his eyes glued to the golden icosahedron. "Nafeza's down!" Sammie shouted as he and his assistants ran to look her over. "I'm fine I can hold on!" Nafeza heaved as she kept hold of the stones in her hands and propped herself up with one knee.

"Brian, they may not out last her." Sammie said as one of his assistants injected a green serum into Nafeza's arm. "I'm... huff... fine." She said breathlessly. "Just a little longer.... just a little... lo-lon-longer..." Caralee's eyes suddenly became void of life as she slipped into a trance. "Deagen this is not working!" Sammie shouted. "I think someone lied! If this goes on any longer one of you may very well die and that's best case scenario!" Deagan gritted his teeth and knew Sammie was speaking the truth. Caralee was already slipping into madness while Nafeza was barely holding onto her life, his heart hurt at the sight.

"Adelram!" He shouted with anguish but his familiar didn't appear. "Blamore! Claec! Duana! Hadria!" Still nothing. "Answer me!" He yelled as his eyes widened at the sight of Caralee dropping down to her knees and Nafeza's eyes starting to become dull. "I'm sorry young Master but we are not permitted to leave the shadow realm while the girl is in that form." Adelram said from within Deagen's shadow. "Was I lied to then?! Was this all a plan to get rid of us?!" He shouted back. "No, what we told you is the truth... it seems that you need to retreat this child is a variety of her kind."

Deagen looked at the two women then upwards and saw that Ariana was still trying to break from her imprisonment. Deagan snarled at his own incompetence and didn't know what to do. "Master break the imprisonment the young stag has an idea!" Hadria shouted, with in seconds Deagen smashed the silver and diamond together. The intense magic casting caused the material to become brittle, exploding into dust the moment he put force into it. "Deagen what are you doing?!" Brian yelled as he caught sight of electrical sparks fly through the air. Nafeza and Caralee collapsed making Sammie and his assistants spring into action.

Deagen gave Brian a ice cold glare before breaking out into a cold sweat and dropping to his knees. "Saving the lives of your guild members... my family." He said with a heavy pant. Brian looked up and saw that the panels of the icosahedron were fading fast, while Vasu gave himself enough distance from Ariana before charging towards her. The moment the icosahedron was completely gone Ariana stretched out her wings, curled up her claws and shrieked a cry of utter betrayal.

She turned her gaze towards Vasu who was starting to morph into a brilliant stag with every step he took. Ariana steeled herself to attack one of the Lumas she loved, half expecting Vasu to cause her harm the other to distract her again. "Ariana...." A familiar voice called out to her with the wind. Her body went limp, she was caught off guard from the the voice that pulled on her heart strings.

She brought her arms down and swallowed back her saliva. She couldn't help but take her gaze of off Vasu and look out into the darkness. "Where?" was all she could say before the stag collided into her body, streaks of pink luminous waves swirled around her and Vasu. The strike was too much for her to handle, visions of her life quickly played before her eyes. She could see the faces of her loving parents, a big mansion where she played with the staff, her first day of school, her first abduction, her father and mother's worried and relieved faces, home school, cooking, baking, second abduction, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, fencing, piano lessons, art classes, private middle school, living at the dorms, horse back riding, faces of friends who used her, being alone, shutting herself away in a library, going home for the summer, high school, being a lone again, learning anything she could from books, graduation, proud parents, working at her mother's company.

Then on her 24th birthday she was working late, she needed to finish her proposal for the new project development. It was her first time submitting a proposal and she wanted to give it her all. She looked at the time at it was already 10 in the evening. She hesitated one more time before she emailed her proposal. She couldn't help but feel gitty with excitement as she packed up her belongings. When she reached the underground parking she pulled out her phone and called her father. "Dad, I know I'm late. I'm on my way home right now.... just walking to the car... yup ... love you too."

She smiled as her father and mother warned her to be careful. She hopped into the car and waited for her Bluetooth to turn on. She happily talked to her parents as she drove back home. She was at the last set of lights before she made it home when a black car came racing towards her from the passenger side. The car collided into her car sending her spinning out of control and into a post. Her parents heard her screaming and where shouting at people to track her down. She felt dazed and looked up. A hand stretched in to pull her out, she tried to focus her vision on the face and was instantly blown away when she saw a beautiful pair of amber coloured eyes looking at her with disdain. "Princess your coming with me."

Ariana starting screaming in pain, it was too much for her mind to take. Her wings collapsed and she started to fall downwards. Vasu tried to separate from her but Ariana grabbed his body she wanted to see more, she needed to see more. They both hurtled towards the ground creating a crater on impact. Vasu quickly changed back into his chibi self and separated from Ariana. The Lumas rushed towards him to offer their support. However Ariana laid completely still inside the crater as a pair of pale blue, perfectly round stones where seen near her body.
