Chapter 4

"Heng, you look beautiful" Feng Jiu cannot stop praising Heng. She already noticed her sharp featured yesterday but did not expect her to be this beautiful after dressing her up. She has two dark brown almond shape eyes, sharp straight nose and small pink lips. Her skin is not pale but it has a healthy color and her hair is slightly brown which enhance her beauty even more especially with the contrast of the light blue dress she wears right now.

"Aunty...." Heng can only put awkward smile. When she was part of special force, her brothers only tell her how she should change her gender to a man. When she become a military trainer, she only received praise from her students when she lessen the amount of training or when she got sick. At home, she only has two eccentric men left who sincerely do not know how to communicate properly.

Seeing the face, Feng Jiu laugh happily. She really loves beauty especially when the person did not even realized how beautiful she is.

"Alright alright, let's quickly have our breakfast then we can go." Pulling Heng's hand, she brought her back to the hall where Jiu Mei patiently wait for her. The little bun is wearing a white and pink dress and her hair was tied up into two buns. When she turned her head to look at Heng with her two big sparkly eyes, Heng's mouth automatically curved upwards. Little bun is so adorable ah!

"Heng, do you have any shops you specifically want to see?" asked Feng Jiu after instructing the servant to prepare the carriage.

Heng shakes her head, "I will just walk and get myself more familiar with the street."

The big streets are divided into three parts. Left street is where the nobles or officials live. The middle path will bring them to the bustling market and shops while the right path goes to where most of the commoners live. Of course there are also some mouse paths where Feng Jiu strongly telling her to avoid the area stressing how dangerous it is. Heng reassure her that she does not have any plan to visit the area, ever since she arrives here there was not a day without fighting ah! She really wants to have a mini vacation!

After sitting approximately 15 minutes in the carriage, they finally arrive in the market area. Feng Jiu tell her to wear the veil she prepared for her. As a married woman, she doesn't need to do it and Jiu Mei is still too small so only Heng needs to do it. Heng secretly lamented how troublesome again to be a woman in this era. It is not like anyone know her anyway.

The carriage stop in front of the jewelry shop. The moment they step in, Heng directly got headache seeing the colorful jades and pins. She also wore jewelry when she went out with her friends, but she likes simple design and light weight one. She wonders how can the females here wear so many heavy hair accessories, aren't they scared having neck pain everyday?

By the end, she excused herself to walk alone and promise to see them at the restaurant in the end of the street for lunch. Feng Jiu also shove a money pouch to her and told her she can return the money when she finally manage to earn money.

Not far from the jewelry shop, she finally find an interesting shop to go, weapon shop! She quickly walk inside to see what type of weapon exist in this place.

The head keeper was surprised to see a slim petite figure come inside the shop. Even with the veil, he can tell from the quality of the clothes that she is not someone he can offend with. He quickly rush to greet her and offer his service, "This young lady, do you have anything specific that you would like to check? Our shop products are divided into three floors; the first one is for communal use, the second floor is where the fighting weapon is and higher quality one is located in the third floor."

Hearing the shop keeper's explanation, she directly move towards the second floor but she quickly got disappointed to see the quality of the goods.

She then move towards the third floor and she was surprised to see a familiar dagger. This looks exactly like the one her grandpa has ah! She remember how much she loves the dagger but her grandpa stubbornly refused to give it to her.

"You have a really good eyes young lady. This dagger is the last product created by master Kim. This dagger has been sitting here for a long time waiting for the rightful owner." He remember how normally no one will take notice of the dagger. It has a plain color and no pretty decoration was carved in either the handle or the sheath. The sheath color was almost fully black except the one red line in one of the side.

He remember how he questioned his boss again and again if he can move the dagger to the second floor where he got refused strongly and tell him to wait. It seems it's true, this young lady did not even check other weapons when she arrive on the third floor. Sigh, he should just focus himself as a head keeper and follow his boss' order.

"How much does this cost?Will this be enough?" Asked Heng while giving the bag to the head keeper. She really has no idea how the money works here.

When the shopkeeper open the bag, he almost drop his eyes out seeing the amount of gold coins and rolled bank notes inside the bag.

However as a trained head keeper, he quickly regained his composure before humbly telling Heng that he will give her all the details on the paper and ask her to verify it.

Heng only carelessly waved her hands telling him there is no need for that. She just want to quickly finish the boring procedure and move on to the next shop. When everything is done, she happily went out from the shop while to thinking what kind of things she will discover in other shops. Unfortunately, she doesn't even have the time to look around when someone bumped on her and almost made her fall down.
