Mikhail’s Investigation Began!

PPPPSSSSSSTTTT!!!

The blood splattered and a bloody arm dropped down onto the inn's floor. Everyone in the shabby inn is shocked since they did not notice that Mikhail brings any weapons with him, so how could he cut that burly man's arm like that. They did not even saw when he unsheathed his weapon and what he uses to cut it since Mikhail swiftly changed shadow sword's ring into the dagger to cut that man's arm then instantly turned it back into the ring.

"ARRRGGGHHH!!!" The burly man is screaming and crouching down while continue to holding his arm that has been cut off by Mikhail.

"Do it again and the one that will fly next time will be your head!" Mikhail sound very cold and a little hoarse, full with bloodlust that making everyone that hearing it feels suffocating and shivering.

Even Reina is surprised and shivered a little when she hears it. This is her first time to saw this side of Mikhail but she recovered after a while and grinning cutely while staring at Mikhail from behind her hood.

'This man is full of many surprises and hidden sides, making me more and more curious and interested in him each day. His smile, anger, flirting, worry, and now his coldness is like a warm tiny light that protecting me and guiding my every step to follow after him. Also each day I would never feel bored and tired with him by my side. I hope to god that a day like this would last forever.' Reina slowly thinking it while unknown warmth slowly spreading in her heart making her smile blooming beautifully.

Mikhail deliberately cut that man hand and making his sound as menacing as possible to show his dominance and pressuring all the peoples in here so they would not dare to look for trouble with him. Luckily, Mikhail has a habit to imitate bad-ass character lines in games or anime when he is taking a shower.

Mikhail grabs Reina's soft white hand and slowly walking to inn's counter while ignoring all the peoples gaze then Mikhail booking two rooms for them on the second floor and take the keys from the innkeeper.

Mikhail escorted Reina to her room and telling her to stay in her room for now. Also, he has some business to take care off today so he cannot accompany her today.

"Where did you want to go? I want to go with you too!" Reina is pouting while whining to Mikhail.

"My dear wifey, I promise I will accompany you tomorrow to sightseeing and shopping on the main street but please stay in this room for today. You must be tired today, right? How about taking a bath and go to sleep early today?" Mikhail is gently persuading Reina.

"Ok then I will be good and stay here today but tomorrow you must accompany me to sightseeing and shopping around the Blue City!" Reina eyes brightening and nodded to Mikhail.

"Of course, tomorrow would be our first date then! And you little guy, you are staying here too for today to guarding her! Remember to be obedient to your mother!" Mikhail promised with Reina while rubbing Momon's furry head and warned it to be obedient.

"Wha… Wha… Who do you call mother?" Reina face turned pinkish and denying what Mikhail said but Mikhail already running away out of her room.

Mikhail turned his shadow sword into a black cloak form to cover his face and figure then walked out of the shabby inn. Mikhail walking back toward the Blue City's main street and after searching for a while along the main street finally, he found the most popular tavern in this Blue City, Blue Light Tavern.

Mikhail has entered the Blue Light Tavern and looking the situation inside around. It really lives up to its name as the most popular tavern, there are many people that chatting, drinking, and eating inside it with various professions from soldiers, merchants, doctors, and many more.

Actually, inside the alley, there are also some taverns but all people inside it must be full of hoodlums and Mikhail doubt that the information they gave will be credible.

Mikhail taking on the empty seat near the window and a waitress wearing a skimpy black outfit came to asking for his order.

"I want to order a cup of coffee and I also want to ask for some information!" Mikhail ordering some drinks and gave a gold coin to the sexy waitress.

The sexy waitress eyes brightening and shove the gold coin inside her towering cleavage then she brings a cup of coffee to Mikhail and sitting beside him.

"What did you want to know, handsome guy? My room?" The skimpy waitress is smiling and sitting closer to Mikhail while started to hug his arm and pressed it into her breast's cleavage.

If Mikhail did not meet with Reina before he would certainly be seduced here and now but after spending more than two weeks with Reina that many times more beautiful than this sexy waitress, Mikhail already developing some kind of resistance and self-control to it.

In fact, he did not even feel any interest toward this waitress at all but he must be faking it for now while extracting some information from her.

"We could do that later… How about we chat here first to know each other better? What is your name? My name is Mikhail." Mikhail is slowly whispering to waitress ear.

"The handsome Mikhail huh… My name is Catherine." Catherine giggling while answering Mikhail.

"Oh yeah… Did you know when this origin beast came from?" Mikhail asked Catherine again.

Actually, Mikhail could ask Reina about this too but if he asking Reina, he felt that she will be laughing at him and his value in front of her would decrease. Mikhail did not want it to happen that why he choose this option now.

"PPPFFFTTTT… AHAHAHA… What is that question? Ahahaha…" Catherine is laughing out loud at Mikhail while holding her stomach.

"How could you do know about this? Are you amnesia or something?" Catherine continues to talking while holding her laugh.

"All the origin beasts already exist since more than 500 years ago after the old world's apocalypse." Catherine began to explain to Mikhail.

"FIVE… FIVE HUNDRED YEARS AGO!!!" Mikhail is shouting and almost collapsed when he hears about it.
