The Sun rose from the West

As soon as Mei Ling woke up, Mei Ling entered the bathroom, quickly took a shower and dressed casually.

One of the aspects that's impressive with Mei Ling is that her aura changes with her clothing. Previously because she was in her business suit, her whole aura was a bit cold and she emitted her aura of strictness, with which she can easily make her comments more imposing. But right now, she had the typical tourist aura around her.

Mei Ling checked herself again in the mirror, and afterward she checked her camera. Yes, as soon as Mei Ling decide that the Kazoku Corps was suspicious she prepared herself to gather evidence, not only she ordered tiny microphone, she also got herself one pen camera, and one high definition camera. Mei Ling didn't have much hacking skill, but she still downloaded few hacking programs that she got from a friend of Adler Corps, her laptop was ready, and she had her tourist bag 'I <3 Japan' with the flag on it filled up. And because of everything she planned she got to sleep a bit later than usual.

As Mei Ling finished checking everything up she felt a bit drowsy, the doorbell rang. Mei Ling immediately put the bag on her shoulder, as she opened her door, she saw Jack with a beautiful bouquet and a small smile on his face, she almost dropped the bag.

Mei Ling never saw any expression on her boss face, when she says never its literally never! Seeing the smile on her boss face, she almost thought that she recognized the wrong person, Mei Ling shifted her eyes to the big windows and she murmured lightly: "The Sun did rise up from the East though"

She once again looked toward her boss, who was dressed up in short, shirt and sunglasses, he had a small smile on his face while holding a bouquet of flower filled with rose toward her, he was looking like the perfect boyfriend. She once again checked if the Sun didn't really rise up from the West, Still no.

'Maybe, maybe I am too tired' with those thoughts, Mei Ling close the door, and went to sleep, she thought that she was having hallucination from drowsiness, she thought that she could sleep until her real boss came over.

Without letting Mei Ling enough time to get to bed, the doorbell once again rang. Mei Ling's eyes were now wide open with disbelief, the drowsiness faded away in the blink of an eye, Mei Ling lips were trembling, she slowly made her way to the doorknob, turned it and immediately flashed a forced smile to the person standing there with a smile.

Her voice was a bit forceful:

"Boss?"

"Yes?" Jack's response was also in a doubtful tone, he simply didn't understand why she closed the door previously. He exactly made the thing according to his father's instruction, he bought a bouquet of rose, had a slight smile on his face to appear more charming and amiable. Jack didn't know where he got wrong because his father told him that his mother extremely liked this way of presenting to the door in the morning and since then, his father does it quite frequently. And he himself saw his mother having a happy smile while taking the bouquet she even kissed his father!

But he didn't want to question to much so he quickly brushed past it. While also mentally noting down that this approach didn't work.

"Let's go" Jack immediately held out the bouquet once again so she could take it, he still tried to smile.

Mei Ling took the bouquet, she still couldn't believe it, but looking at the stiff smile of her boss, she couldn't help but want to laugh but she restrained herself. Afterall maybe it was to make Kazoku Corps let their guard down, maybe they were spied on by Kazoku Corps.

Jack seeing that Mei Ling's lips slightly curved up in a tiny smile also imperceptible let out a mental sigh of relief, it's not that the approach didn't work, it was that Mei Ling was a bit slow in romance things.

Jack looked through Mei Ling's file so he knew that she didn't have any boyfriend until now. They were both new to love but since he had the notebook and advice that his father gave him, he felt more knowledgeable! He will slowly let her learn about his love.

As he thought about this he slowly reached out to hold Mei Ling's hand, he was extremely nervous but was relieved that she didn't resist. But he still felt that his heart was beating unusually fast. His father said that was a normal reaction so he didn't worry too much.

On her side Mei Ling already adapted to her role, she immediately deduced that they were going to play the boyfriend-girlfriend thing. She still stiffened a bit when he held her hand but she had to bear because the acting must be realistic, as a secretary, even though she majored in business she still learned a lot of auxiliary skills so she was still able to adapt.

As they walked out of the hotel, she could feel the stare of the people around them, but she quickly got used to it. As they slowly walked, she still didn't know where they were going but felt that since they were going to spy on Kazoku Corps, it must be a restaurant near Kazoku Corps.

And indeed, it was a restaurant near Kazoku Corps. As they approached the restaurant, she looked at her boss and she nearly lost herself while staring, damn he was so handsome, but she quickly focused because he was talking.

"cough, so for breakfast, what would you like? I made a reservation for a light breakfast but you can choose something different if you like" Jack still tried to smile when he was talking to her.

Mei Ling didn't know what to feel seeing his smile, she felt embarrassed because she once again nearly lost herself.

"Light breakfast is good" Mei Ling was a bit red due to embarrassment. She felt even more embarrassed because she felt her boss staring at her, he must be thinking that I am embarrassing him oh god!

Jack looked at Mei Ling while she was replying but he couldn't look away anymore, his mind was screaming 'CUTE!!!'.

Jack who was lost himself in Mei Ling's cute little face, and Mei Ling who was so embarrassed that she couldn't speak soon arrived in the restaurant
