Chocolates

The next day, Lindon did not expect to see Arriene at the carpark of the Mo Corporation.

She is leaning in her car while waiting for him.

When she see Lindon's coming car, Arriene quickly straightened her body.

She revealed a sweet smile and approached Lindon.

"Lindon!" She called him.

Lindon knitted his brow. "Arriene?"

" Hi!" Arriene smiled.

"What are you doing her?" Lindon asked.

"Uh, I... I just want to see you. I heared that you're already discharged from the hospital, so I want to make sure that you're fine." Arriene explained.

"And... I...I...missed...you" Arriene added and she lowered her head.

"Arriene we----"

"Lindon, I am here as a friend. Don't worrry I'm not here to cause trouble." Arriene interrupted Lindon.

"Lindon could you please don't chase me away? I...I think I can't leave without you." Arriene acted sincere.

Lindon sigh. "Arriene you know that I like someone else."

"I know, I know, but Lindon. I am willing to become even just a friend."

Lindon pinched the space between his brows.

He is having a headache. He wanted Arriene to leave now before Kresha arrived and saw them.

He don't want her to misunderstand them.

However, Arriene suddenly embrace him!

Lindon was stunned and he don't have a chance to react!. "Wha---" he was not able to finish his word. Arriene suddenly kissed him on his lips!

Kresha have just descended from the car at the carpark at the Mo Corporation.

She notice the two person on the other side of the car park.

Kresha was stunned!

It was Arriene and Lindon! And....they were hugging?!.... No, no, no! Arriene is hugging Lindon!

And suddenly! Arriene kissed Lindon!

Kresha furrowed her brows and then rolled her eyes.

Ha! This great pretender lady is really doing this on purpose!

And this guy! Hmp! I think he is enjoying her kiss anyway!

Ttsss... do you think that I would get jealous? Duh?!

Kresha ignored the both of them and she continue to walk towards the entrance of the Mo Corporation Building.

Arriene secretly smirked! Let's see Kresha! I'm taking him away from you again! You will never win against me!

Arriene purposely kissed Lindon when she saw Kresha.

Lindon did not see Kresha arrived. His back is against the side where Kreha's car have parked.

He was stunned when Arriene suddenly kissed him.

He pushed her violently which made Arriene slumped on the ground!

"Ah!" She cried.

She looked at Lindon with her stunned expression!

"Arriene! Go away! Don't ever dare to touch me or go near me again! We are done already!" Lindon said in a sulky voice. And then he walk away and did not spare another look to her.

Arriene balled her fist. Lindon Mo! I think I have changed my mind! How about, I will eliminate your grandfather first?! And then I'll let you suffer alone!

CEO office

Kresha purposely slammed the files at the top of Lindon's desk which made a sound " Plack!"

Lindon was stunned!

He averted his gaze from his laptop to Kresha.

He throw her a questioning look as if asking, why? What happened?!

But Kresha ignored him.

"This are the files that you're looking for yesterday, SIR!" She coldly said.

Kresha did not wait for Lindon's response. She quickly turn and leave the office.

"..."

Lindon is speechless. His mouth is sligthly opened while his gaze followed Kresha."What happened? Did I said something wrong?" Lindon asked his assistant.

Assistant Chen shook his head.

"No, sir!"

"Then why is she mad?" Lindon mumbled.

"I think she is just throwing tantrums sir!" Assistant Chen replied.

Lindon looked at his assistant. "Throwing tantrums?"

Assistant Chen nodded his head. "Yes sir!"

"What should I do?" Lindon asked again.

"Buy her something sweet?" Assistant Chen suggested.

"Do you think it would be effective?"

"I think it's the best way to coax her sir!"

Lindon nodded his head.

Kresha is busy doing her work.

Suddenly someone put something on her desk.

Kresha stopped what she is doing and looked up.

It's Lindon!

Kresha look down at the thing that Lindon put down to her desk. "What's that?" She asked coldly.

"Chocolates!" Lindon replied with a smile.

"Why are you giving me those chocolates?!" Kresha ask again.

"To ligthen up your mood?"

Kresha scoffed. "Tsss... What do you think of me, a kid?"

"Why? Does only kids eat chocolates?" Lindon asked her back.

"..."

Kresha was speechless.

Lindon draw closer to her ear and whispered." Sweetheart, why are you so sassy today? Are you on your period?"

Kresha's face flushed red. "You!" Kresha glared at Lindon and pionted her finger to him.

But Lindon just grin and kissed her forehead. " Have a good day ahead sweetheart!" And then he walk away and enetered to his office.

"..."

Kresha was left speechless. She can still feel the warmth of his kiss. Her heart skipped a beat.

She unconsciosly touch her forehead.

"Aaahhh! The CEO is so sweet!" Gracy suddenly popped out of nowhere!

Kresha snapped back to her senses. She blinked her eyes for a few times.

Gracy approach Kresha." Hey! What is this?" Gracy grabbed the chocolate from Kresha's desk.

Gracy gasp! "My, my, my! Boss is so generous! Isn't this one of the worlds most expensive chocolate? Gosh! It is made by a Belgian chocolatier! And as of what I knew, this chocolates cost hundred dollars per pound!"

Kresha froze.

"Really?!"

Gracy chuckled. "Hhhaaahhh! How I wish there would be someone do this to me too!" Gracy embrace the chocolate while looking up as if fantasizing for her prince charming.

Kresha shook her head and pulled back the box of chocolate from Gracy.

"Hey! Give it to me! That's mine!" Kresha pursed her lips.

This is the first time that he gave me chocolates!

Hmmm?? Is this a compensation?

She remember what happened at the carpark this morning.

Kresha put down the chocolates on her desk.

But it was obvious that Arriene was the one who kissed him!

"Hello, how was your mission?" Arriene asked the person from the other line.

"As of now, The situition is in control. No one notice me here, so don't think too much about it." The man on the other line replied.

"Good! Let him suffer due to his ailment!" Kresha smirked.
