Rosanna knew when Noah left, and she had a feeling that something would be happening. Her father's presence had gone so close that she was so sure that he was nearby. Either him… or that his minions would be trying to snatch her again.

Noah didn't even bother to say goodbye because she knew pretty well that it would only remind her of her mother. That big brother had always been so considerate… so much that he might be staking his life on the line just to keep her safe.

The girl then circled her arms around Mediis. "Mediis, when someone comes to take me, don't fight them, okay? I don't want you to die." She petted the dog that seemed to have gone apprehensive as they stared at each other's eyes. "I don't want Mediis to get hurt because of me."
