New Weapons

Orion was walking through the streets on his own and thinking about his discussion with Roman and Shaya.

Shaya was explaining the plan of the 3 Boa sisters.

"Hancock made the plan to stay on this island for a couple of months to stay away from any unwanted attention as it's relatively quiet but now that their identities have been exposed they can't do that.

They'll definitely try and make a break for it but as the ports will be closed down their best bet is to do it under the cover of night. So we have to get to them before tonight and convince them to come with us to meet your parents tomorrow, all without being detected."

Roman frowned as he said.

"First thing's first, we need to find them. Looking for three girls that don't want to be found in a big town is like trying to find a needle in a haystack!"

"Before they left, Hancock told me to meet her at our hiding spot. Even though they probably weren't actually expecting me to come out of that alive, they're more than likely still there."

Orion nodded before saying.

"We know where they are, but before we go we need to find a mask for you as your face will only bring us more troubles. You 2 stay here, I'll go to the weapon shop and pick up a mask for you and any hopefully I'll find a decent weapon's for Roman and I."

Shaya looked at the sword on Roman's hip and asked.

"Isn't that your weapon?"

Orion looked down at the katana on his hip as shook his head.

"No, this sword is too light for me now and Roman's previous halberd broke when he was training against wild beasts."

Saying that Orion headed towards the door when he heard Roman call out to him.

"Aren't you going to wear your mask?"

To that Orion shook his head as he said.

Wearing a mask right now to the weapon shop will only bring in more attention which is something I don't want or need.

While Orion was lost in thought he found his way to the weapon shop. When he went in he saw weapons everywhere, from swords to spears to kukri knives.

Orion was walking through the shop picking up different swords and testing them when he saw something that caught his eyes.

It was an odd shaped heavy sword. It had a long black handle, the same length of his forearm, the blade was mainly silver with the perimeter coloured a matte black. But what caught his eye wasn't the colour, it was the blade itself. It was a long rectangular blade with no point, that reached from the floor to the bottom of his chin and was as wide as his body.

He read the forger's description which read:

Blacksmith – Bai Kitetsu

Name – Akuma Ishin (Demon Prestige)

Note – This sword weigh's 60 Kg and is only for a true swordsman who has demon like strength.

Price – £10,000,000 (£=Belly)

[This is it… This sword was practically made for me!]

Orion lifted the sword from the wall and as he took the full weight in his hands he found it hard to lift it straight.

[I'll need to at least breakthrough to the D+ Rank to wield this freely. Considering I only just managed to breakthrough to the D- Rank a month ago, it'll be a while before that happens. Saying that, practicing with this will increase the speed of my training.]

Orion closed his eyes and an overbearing energy was being channelled through his body. As that energy was being channelled the sword in his hand became a lot easier to wield. He swung it a few times and nodded in appreciation.

[Good sword! It's a shame I can only wield it properly when I use my heavenly demon qi to strengthen my body as my body goes up a rank, but I can only use the heavenly demon qi for 10 minutes at one time before I reach my limit.

So the only time I can use this sword in an actual fight is when I use my heavenly demon qi to augment my strength and I can only do it for 10 minutes.

Ok, now I've found a sword, I just need to find a halberd and a mask then I'm done!]

Just as he was about to leave he saw a silver halberd that stood at a height of 6". The mouth of the Halberd was shaped like a dragon's mouth from which a spear tip reared its head, and a giant axe blade that was the size of the blade on a war axe.

The description read:

Name – Ryu No Kiba (Dragon Fang)

Note – This halberd weighs 100Kg and is only for someone who boasts the strength of a dragon amongst men.

[This halberd is perfect for Roman, as like me and my sword he'll be able to grow into it over the next few years. Now the only problem is going to be bringing them back to the room… Carrying 160 kg for over a mile… That's training in and of itself

But this Bai Kitetsu is quite the forger! if I get the chance in the future, I'd love to pay my respects. I wonder if he has any other interesting works.]

Orion started rummaging through the pieces in the corner which all appeared to belong to him. There was all sorts, from daggers, to crossbows and even knuckle dusters.

Orion stopped as he came across a bow. It was deep crimson and was covered in scales, the bow string was pitch black in colour making the bow very ominous.

[Shaya seems to like a bow but using her devil fruit to make one weakens her combat strength, if she was to use a bow and only use her devil fruit for arrows, her strength should increase some.]
