[Scanning Results: Host is awarded the King of the Forest Imprint for defeating the previous King of the Forest Biome and becoming the New King.]
Alex made sense of what the system said as he had already seen the previous king of the Forest Biome, The Spirit Wolf, also have an Imprint as well as The Panda after it became king.
"So a Human can also become King of the Forest. Since that's the case, What kind of benefits does this Imprint have, System?"
[The King of the Forest is a minor King Imprint that fully records a Martial Technique of the holder and passes it down a generation. The new Imprint holder can either be enlightened on this technique or they can use the Technique as the foundation to create a new Martial Technique. Depending on the power of the New Martial Technique, The Imprint may record it to pass down.]
Hearing The System, Alex got excited and couldn't wait to open the Imprint to find out what technique was in it. Before he opened the Imprint, He couldn't help but ask, "System, What do you mean about the Imprint being a minor King Imprint?"
[King Imprints are given by the World to any being who controls a core region of the World. They are separated into Major King Imprint and Minor King Imprint. Major King Imprint Signifies controlling an entire core region, Minor King Imprint Signifies Controlling a part of a core region. Each comes with different benefits with Major King Imprints having the best benefits, one of which is solidifying your place as a ruler to the world]
Alex nodded as a lot of things started to click in his head. One of those being why so many Ancestral figures tried to conquer The Great Biomes, and also why so many failed. It was because this region, The Great Biomes, was a core region of the world and they were after the Major King Imprint that came with conquering The Great Biomes. This was going to make things much harder.
Alex calmed his thoughts before they got away from him. He guided his mind to the Imprint on his forehead, The Silver 'King' Lit up as a space opened in Alex's mind. A giant 8ft panda appeared standing before Alex, scaring him half to death.
The Panda had its legs widened, its left hand rested behind its back, and its right hand was raised in front of its face with its pinky up, what a familiar scene. Alex nearly yelped in excitement at the scene of the panda stretching its right hand forward and seeing the familiar Thumb and Pinky Combo. Watching closely, The Panda closed its Thumb and Pinky, and once again Alex felt a grave feeling wash over him.
"What is this technique?" He thought.
[Desctruction Point]
Bold words appeared above The Panda. Alex looked around in the quiet space before an idea started forming in his head.
"What is Destruction Point?" He thought.
[The Martial Technique the Previous Yin Yang Spirit Panda King created from the Destruction Strike Martial Technique of the Previous Boiling Blood Spirit Wolf King]
New bold words appeared above The Yin Yang Spirit Panda explaining the origins of the Destruction Point Martial Technique.
"So, he was a Yin Yang Spirit Panda, Respect! How do I learn this Technique?" Alex Thought.
[Would you like to be enlightened?]
A question in Bold appeared above the Yin Yang Spirit Panda.
"Yes!" Alex Thought for a few seconds.
The Yin Yang Spirit Panda turned and looked directly into Alex's eyes, transferring a stream of knowledge and information directly into Alex's mind to digest.
"Yes, Yes, I See," Alex fell into a total daze.
"Beautiful! Wonderful!" Alex waved his hands and the pile of glowing treasure, as well as the thunderbolt sword, disappeared before he started walking dazedly away.
The Corpse of the Yin Yang Spirit Beast would be left to be eaten by another, giving birth to another Peak or Multiple High and Medium rank 2 Spirit Beasts. Such is the way of the World.
Alex's voice could still be heard after he walked away amidst his Enlightenment,
"Great!"
"Uhuh!
"Wow!"
...
By the time Alex woke from his dazed enlightenment, he stood outside a pair of destroyed wooden gates. This was surprisingly The Hidden Cloud Village, where he had promised to meet Jeffrey and his Nine Disciples on the 10th day.
"Looks like they accomplished the mission," Alex mumbled with a slight smile. Walking through the broken gates, Alex looked around the village. Everything seemed relatively peaceful, with no obvious signs of a battle having happened here except for the gate.
The Village was built in a weird cloudlike shape, with wooden buildings spaced out around the perimeter. Judging from the different structures, Alex guessed there were around 40 clusters of clouds, each containing at least fifty houses and some other essential buildings such as training barracks, storage buildings, and trade buildings.
Surprisingly the village was very quiet, but still, Alex could feel the eyes of the folks inside their homes peeking out through the windows at him. In the middle of the village was a large wooden building, Alex assumed this was the village chief's headquarters and walked to it. Before he reached the building, the door opened, and Jeffrey came out followed 10 other people.
They were his disciples and a very fit looking lady.
"Greetings, Your Highness!" Jeffrey put his right hand to his left shoulder and bowed.
"Greetings, Master!" The disciples followed behind him although only slightly bowing.
"Greetings, Your Highness!" The lady behind them also bowed deeply.
"Hng," Alex nodded his head and continued towards the building before entering the door.
"This way, Your Highness," The lady following behind Jeffrey moved to the front and passed Alex to lead him. The inside of the building was relatively simple, being separated into two stories. The lady led Alex and the group passed the stairs that led upstairs on the right side of the door and passed the open area into the hallway in the middle of the room.
After passing two doors on both sides of the hallway, they reached the end of the hallway and the lady opened up the final door standing in the middle of the hallway. This door led to a simple room with a large, handcrafted Greywood rectangular table in the middle, with twelve handcrafted bluewood chairs surrounding the table.
Alex naturally walked to the head of the grey table and sat down. The group followed after him with Jeffrey sitting at the end of the table and Dragon Sr sitting at the front left, and Beast Jr at the front right. Surprisingly the lady also sat down, sitting across Fire Jr at what would've been an empty seat. Alex frowned at this sight.
"Master," Dragon Sr seeing Alex's frown quickly thought of the reason, "This is Ms. Lara, The Village Chief of The Hidden Cloud Village."
"Oh," Alex looked at Dragon Sr for more info.
"She led the village to surrender to us after Beast Jr smashed open the village gate," Emperor Jr said proudly. Alex turned to Emperor Jr with and smile and nodded, "Good."
Turning to the village chief Lara and examining her, Alex asked, "Why did you surrender to our forces?"
Lara looked straight at Alex and replied, "Word had spread our village that a powerful force had come to claim the forest biome in the name of The Fifth Prince and His Majesty the King. Days after this the four small villages were already beaten and under the control of this force, and days later so were the medium villages and the nearby Hidden Weapon Village. It is in my duty as the village chief to look out for the best interest of my people and fighting your disciples and a godly being would've been suicide, Your Highness."
Alex continued to examine this chief, "Why do you sit at my table?"
"I Wish To Protect My People!"
