Peng Hu noticed that what he said was very dumb. Wanting to correct himself and avoid any messy situation, Peng Hu was about to say something when he saw a flash of movement coiling around him. He was being locked by a sort of judo joint locking technique.

The petite girl was struggling hard to not laugh. She didn't expect that her hostage would spout such nonsense as a way to avoid her. Thinking on the reason for what could make this strange man say something so rubbish to save his own life, the girl instantly got red from the anger.

"You... you... you dare look down on me!? You think I'm a little naive girl!? You are courting death!"

"N-no! That wasn't my int-"

Peng Hu felt that this irrational girl was exerting more force and could probably choke him to death... or make his blood circulation stop! Why won't she calm down and let me explain??? Woman are so irrational, wherever you go.

"Save it. You may consider yourself a 'humble' person, but in my eyes, you are a dangerous threat."

[I need to do something fast, else she would really kill me! What do people usually do in this kind of situation in the movies and novels...? Right! They bluff their way out or make the other party empathetic with one.]

As if triggering a secret switch on herself long lost in the passages of time, a time were she was called and treated like a kid. Coughing blood because of the anger this irritable strange man could be, she wanted to end the life of this miserable and disrespectful 'creature'.

The girl swiftly took a knife out from her body, and before she could slash Peng Hu, a fire arrow flew past her, cutting a little bit of her cheek. Assessing the situation, the girl thought that Peng Hu was a bait to lure her out, thus she separated herself from Peng Hu. Peng Hu could finally grasp hold of air and freedom of movements.

"What do we have here...? The infamous rogue Pina. Cheer up squad. If we capture her, we will rise the ranks!"

"Tsk. What is the meaning of this men from the Red Ember Kingdom? You are trespassing the territory of the Village of Siluca."

"The prey we were following ran off this way hehehe. It was pure coincidence that we are here. I don't think anybody would mind if we were to capture you in charge of... hindering our hunt."

"You... you..." - Pina deduced that these men were exploiting the weak link on the contract signed between both Red Ember Kingdom and Village of Siluca. There was a probability that more men were stationed around this area, surrounding her. With all her years of experience being the hunter and hunted... she has to resort to her secret tactic: run away!

Not wasting a single moment, she sprinted in the opposite direction of the Red Ember Squad. After running for a few minutes at full speed, she heard someone shouting at her.

"Wait....! Hold up... I can't run... anymore..." *gasp* *gasp*

Pina glanced back. To her surprise, she saw the strange man was following her!

"Go away! You brought them to me you lowlife."

"I... I swear. I don't know them! Please help me."
