Chapter 6: Dinner with the Midoriya’s

A bright smile was shown on my face as I was practically skipping my way to Izuku's house. I couldn't help but be excited. I never had a friend to hang out with before and I will make sure to enjoy it to the fullest!

Arriving at the front door, I knocked a few times and waited for a few moments. Opening the front door I was greeted by the sight of Inko. "Oh Kasumi! Please come in!" Inko stepped out of the doorway allowing me inside. "How are you today Inko?" I ask as I sat down on their sofa. "I'm good, thank you for asking." Inko gave me a kind smile. "Izuku is in his room down the hall, nice outfit by the way." I showed her my best smile. "Thank you! I quite like this outfit too! I picked it out yesterday before I found Izuku at the playground." I waved as I made my way to Izuku's room. Knocking lightly on the door I heard a faint "come in!"

I opened his door to find him sitting on the floor, and video of All Might playing on a screen. "All Might is so cool! I want to be just like him someday!" He said enthusiastically. "I want to be a hero that saves everyone with a smile!" He turned to face me. "Say, do you want to be a hero too? If so what kind!?" He asked getting excited over what my possible answer would be. "I do want to be a hero, I want to be the kind of hero that acts as a role model, but I also won't make promises that I can't keep. I want people to know that not everybody can be saved, and those who do need saving are the ones we can't always see. However that doesn't mean I won't try." I said with certainty and confidence. Izuku looked at me for a few moments and then smiled at me. "Yeah, that sounds like something you'd do."

We sat in silence for a few moments before Izuku asked me about quirks. "What type of quirk do you think you'll get." I thought about it for a moment and gave him an honest answer. "I can think of endless possibilities."

It's true, my quirk when I get one will be "Quirk Creation" limited to 5-10 quirks depending on how much I can take. I have endless types of quirks to choose from but I know that once I get my quirk I know at least 2 of them I will certainly give myself. The "Fox" mutation quirk my mother has and an "Ice" quirk that my father has. Though if I do decide to get more then those two I know I must choose carefully.

After our short discussion about quirks Inko called us out of Izuku's room. Walking into their dining/living room Inko is sitting on the couch with 2 blonds sitting opposite of her. A young boy about my age and a women were sitting on the couch directing their gaze at us. I knew instantly who the boy and his mother were Katsuki Bakugo and Mitsuki Bakugo. "Hey Inko, who is the girl with Izuku?" Mitsuki looked at me curiously. Putting on my best smile, I introduced myself.

"My name is Kasumi Snow! Very nice to meet you." I finished with a bow. "Did you say your name is Snow? As in Jason and Jasmine Snow?" She looked at me curiously. "Yup, they are my parents." Both Katsuki and Mitsuki looked at me in shock, but they quickly recovered. "Nice to meet you too Kasumi, My name is Mitsuki and this is my son Katsuki." She had a gentle smile on her face, meanwhile Katsuki was glaring daggers at his mom for ruffling with his hair. "Hey snow princess!" Katsuki said in a snarky tone. "What do you think your quirk is going to be?" Without hesitation I said the same thing I told Izuku earlier. "I can think of endless possibilities."

He looked at me a little unsatisfied but didn't push it which I'm grateful. "Kasumi are you staying for dinner?" Inko questioned. I thought for a moment before deciding. "I would love to! Do you have a phone I can use to call my mom with?" Inko pointed over to an old phone hanging on the wall.

"Thank you!" I smiled before dialing my moms number. "Hello, this is Jasmine Snow." Came the response. "Hey mom! Is it ok if I stay for dinner at Izuku's house?" It took my mom a few seconds before replying. "Of course honey, but be back before sundown ok? I love you." "Love you too mom, see you when I get home!" I hung up the phone and walked back towards the two families. "She said it's alright, but I need to be home by sundown."

"Understood, I'll get started now." Inko and Mitsuki got up from the couch. "I'll help you." Mitsuki told Inko. While they walked into the kitchen they left us to our own devices. Katsuki then went on to explaining what type of hero he wanted to be, when he asked me what type of hero I wanted to be I told him exactly what I told Izuku. Though the rest of the conversation went with Katsuki and Izuku bickering with each other.

Almost an hour later Inko announced that the food was done. Sitting at the dining table, Inko and Mitsuki sat the food onto the table. I took a little bit of everything and I'll say the moment I opened my mouth I almost melted. "Mother's cook the best food!" I moaned in delight. Inko and Mitsuki both looked at me with smiles. "Glad you like it Kasumi."

The dinner continued as normal, with everyone occasionally asking me questions. The food was so good I even went for seconds. I spent a little more then 2 hours chatting when it was finally time to head out. "Bye everyone, thanks for dinner! It was delicious!" They all saw me out the door and I was starting to walk home when a familiar person walked up to me. "Aunty Nemuri!!" I ran over to the hero and hugged her legs. "Kasumi! What are you doing out here you little cutie?" Nemuri picked me up into her arms. "I was on my way home after having dinner at a friends house!"

"Oh? Did you have fun?" She looked at me with a glint of amusement in her gaze. "I did and now I'm with Aunty Nemuri!" She chuckled and ruffled my hair. "Tell you what, I'll take you home."

Getting in the car Nemuri drove me home, upon arrival she walked me into my home. "See ya later kiddo, love the outfit by the way." She leaned down and pulled me into a hug, thankfully it wasn't the bone crushing kind like last time. I planted a gentle kiss on her cheek before saying my goodbye. "See ya Aunty! Please be careful on your way home!" And with that I made my way to my room.
