The Uneventful Life of Villager Z
In the world of Aetia, titles meant everything. From your bloodline down to your achievements, they dictate your value in the world. But a few decades ago, the world was suddenly enveloped with light and words began to float above everyone's heads.
For many years, they tried to decipher what this phenomenon meant. Suddenly, a revelation came from the prophets of each church from all over Aetia saying that these formed words were gifts from the gods which dictated the 'predetermined destiny' of the gods bestowed on the holder.
With that knowledge, in just the span of a few years, the whole of Aetia turned upside down. Nobles suddenly weren't nobles anymore. Commoners now held titles of Kings and Queens. Titles like 'Hero' and 'Heroine' emerged. 'Villain' and 'Demon King' had eventually followed suit. With these titles along with the gods' revelation, people set out to make their destinies come true and soon became the main characters of their own stories.
But if you're here expecting to get to know another 'hero' or 'villain' then better close this book and find some other story. There are so many books about those heroes in this world that your eyes would rot if you even attempted to read even a quarter of their number.
That's right, there's no hero in this book.
This story is about me and me alone.
