I but simply smiled and closed my eyes. Accepting the warm embrace of death. Then, then I awoke. In the same hospital I was entered in when I was struck by lightning. The same day I changed, for the worst. Then I heard a voice. "Only in despair, did you regret. Only at the loss of your anchor, did you finally go insane. Only for your duty, did you defy death and try to avenge 'her'. By the Authority of the Origin Tree, Yggdrasil, I shall give you a single chance. Why, you might ask. It's simple, boredom and nothing else." Even if I was reborn from the boredom of a higher being, I thanked them. I, Gray Darian, was scum. Hah... maybe I still am. I was hypocritical, selfish, purposefully ignorant, arrogant. And much more. I won't say something cliche like 'I'll change for the better'.
