Before she knew it, he was standing right in front of her, moving at a speed only a supernatural creature could. "Please, I'm sorry for whatever I've done; just please don't hurt me," she begged him, cowering against the wall not being able to get farther away from him. Damon frowned, and she worried she only made him angrier. He put a hand on her cheek, and she jumped in fright. "Darling, I am not here to hurt you. I would never hurt you." With those words, she began to feel dizzy and sick, the world spinning around her before going black.
