Iselin Sorlie never had a childhood. All she knew until the tender age of seven were the walls surrounding her--and which parts of her to protect during the punishment for attempted escape. Now that she is freed from her cage, she is doing her best to protect and raise her younger siblings. Through the trials of helping run her aunt's indebted tavern and dealing with customers as a barely matured girl, Iselin has learned many of the darker tricks and shortcuts in life that she would prefer to keep from her siblings. When trouble knocks down the door into her family's life, Iselin is forced to find strength from within herself as she tries to adapt to the changing world around her. In Ancient Greece everyone was a sucker for prophecies—even the gods themselves. So when Apollo’s Oracle foresaw the fall of Olympus by way of demigod, the entire pantheon was omnipotently quick to act. The fix? Turn the halfling into a full-pledged god, complete with benefits. Because if there’s any lesson learned in their epic history, prophecies and the dead are all kinds of stubborn, and turning someone into a monster has gorgoned out of fashion. And because mythology. And all the more reason why the nigh-omniscient lot might still be way in over their heads.
In 1879, long after the first abducting of a man in Willow’s Peak, people’s suspicions grew when more townsfolk began to act up. As if under some sort of spell. As if poisoned. Foaming at the mouth…sitings of strange creatures…vivid nightmares…even reports of supernatural powers…the small town on the side of Willow’s Mountain starts to dwindle. When The National Society for Devilry, or TNSD, lets out a report of monstrous werewolves in Willow Forest…a group of teens see no other way to find out what the hell is going on then to head inside. Not only are there demonic creatures in those trees…but a large, and supposedly haunted mansion that belonged to the Robert’s, a family from the late 1600’s that were murdered and mauled by who knows what. These teenagers, or Spencer Smith, Orabelle Reed, Emmett Sherman, Cecily Shirley, and Ivy Harriet venture into the forest, only to figure out that the monsters they are trying to kill and get away from aren’t on the outside or in the trees, but in themselves.
Fenrir was a captain of a spaceship, back in his world. He was happy, he had found a family in his crew, and desired for nothing else beside exploring the wonders of the cosmos. And yet, in the span of a few minutes, his idyllic life ended. He found himself inside the wreckage of his ship, surrounded by death and desolation. He was not in his universe anymore, but in a world ruled by magic, where humans struggle, and technology does not exist. He made friends with the elves, even fell in love with one, but something lurked in the shadow of day. Tucked within the safety of the sun, a mad god watched with his ever-present eye. He spied upon his vast lands, and he conspired.
Kameron was born with the ability to use any type of magic, something incredibly rare. However, at the same time, he was cursed with very little mana. He leaves his home to seek his fortune as an adventurer and to break through his limits.
The theme starts out generic and the characters are mostly non-human. The focus will be given to the animalistic traits of dragons as well as their power and other magical and dangerous creatures. Life changes drastically for Shenlong as she is reborn as a dragon. She will have character growth, dramas related dragon hierarchy and of course romance.
