This is based on my current D&D game. Nil a changeling raised in the hidden village of Fareworth. At the age of sixteen she is required to go on a journey to celebrate her coming of age, but also to learn how to survive in a world that doesn't welcome changelings. On her journey, she will join a group of ragtag adventures in her journey. She isn't completely sure of them yet, but they will help her reach her goal of seeing her brother again and learn stories from around the world. She was taught to play music by her family and hopes to become a traveling bard collecting stories. This story doesn't really have a set plot, only due to it being based on a game that is still in progress. It will be consistent as I do have a storyline that I follow, but the twist and turns are up to the other DM and players.
Sinking in the cosmic ocean, between the gulf of the Planetscape and the Big Nothing, past the outlaw planet, is the S.S. Amaun’s Chariot, being pulled down to the sandy bedrock of Heximus. This planetary tombstone, its deserts swallowing up 70% of its surface, the rest being devoured by scum and bandits, giant sand worms and sky-taken demons, is a lawless wasteland. Here, on the northern half of the northern hemisphere, at the small scrap town of Primer, mercenary adventurers find themselves stranded. The crash was quick, blinding even, yet not so blinding as the secret held by the S.S. Amaun's Chariot. This story is based entirely on a homebrew D&D game, set on the Planet Heximus. The setting contains both magic and modern technology, but Heximus is dominated by Wild West culture. The combination of magic and tech has resulted in some aspects of technology reaching a post-modern level. As the game progresses, so will the tale I write for you. For those of you who don’t already know, This is the tale of Garg and Moonslicer! I am taking the liberty of writing a sequel to this story, hopefully doing it justice. This story was shared from All Things D&D, a youtube channel that narrates D&D stories. Go check them out, cause this was Not my original Idea. I am just adding on what I think would happen next. I hope y’all enjoy!
A young man by the name of Devon Mersi craves independence, exploration, and most importantly: adventure. Join along in his journey to witness his many adventures. Please leave feedback, because I plan to post at least three chapters per week, to a maximum of five per week. Chapters on average will be 1000 - 5000 words, excluding the prologue which is merely a teaser. I really am just curious of what people think of this, and whether or not there is any interest. Please, again, leave feedback, and thank you for reading this!
The God's of Xeno-movia have long died out, killed in the war of races against the Casarns, a brute like race that believed theirselves superior to the God's. Since the death of the God's man has taken up control of the world, dominating it's lands and sending the other races into hiding. The Dwarves hid in the mountains they so loved, the gnomes hid in the hills, the five beast races used large natural surroundings to hide away, the elves, what was left of them, hid behind their dark master's, and the orcs were banished to the scar for refusing to participate in the Gods war. Grall and Grodak, orc brothers born in the scar, had different ways of living. Grall, the younger brother, was born with the gift to speak to those of his tribe that had passed away, he became the chief of the tribe using the elders knowledge to benefit them. Grodak, the elder brother, never much cared to lead, he always preferred to create metal works in a forge. One mistake, that's all it took to force them out of their chosen roles and into another. Grall, the one who made the mistake, was banished from his tribe and forced to wonder the world. Grodak, the one who worked to fix the mistake the most and reclaim the honor that was lost, was made the new chief. Ten years later, the small mistake now hounds at the both of them as they make their way to Whitewater, in hopes they can fix the troubles they have. There they will meet imp, a genius Dasari/Pyroniam, Adrian, a charismatic human who never backs down from a fight,, especially when his friends depend on him, and Tyril, the king of Whitewater, who will send them off to find what they have been searching for this entire time.
