X was born into the world through the process of cloning. A clone, created by doctor Xin Jin, and raised alongside his brothers to become the perfect men. Since the time X had first opened his eyes, he had never felt like an individual, but rather, a part of the unit. A bond that had no meaning and a creator that had expectations. All of this would culminate in the end of the days he would spend with his creator. A test from his creator would bring him and his fellow clones to Aura Institution, a home for the talented. Without an identity, how will X live?
Norman Cromel has been bored ever since he retired from the police force. That is, until he's told one of the criminally insane patients he visits as a volunteer has committed suicide. But Rene Cartesius doesn't seem to have actually died. And when Norman finds proof Rene's delusions might not be all that delusional, he's forced to ask himself whether it's safe to trust the inmates over their psychiatrists, or whether he himself is simply going insane.
